The chairs downstairs that are not the Silver Sneakers chairs are filthy. They used to be upstairs. They need to be cleaned or replaced.

The good experience starts as you walk through the front door. You are greeted by a "Y" partner working at the front desk. The mixture of female, male, young and old is always homogenized with a warm greeting as you approuch the desk. Today, our younger generation is accused of having there attention captured with a cell phone in their face. This is far from the truth at CARLS YMCA! The physical facility is clean and well maintained. An acute awareness of hygiene is on display with multiple stations of sanitizers and towels. This spirit of courtesy is contageous and expressed by the members at our YMCA. A visit to the "Y" is a attitude "Picker Upper" and physical "Fixer Upper".

The facility is clean.
I just love my neighborhood YMCA. As a senior living in Milford I am so happy to have the Y close to my home. The only problem I have is I would love to see the return of water aerobics classes 5 days a week like it was before covid. I realize they have a shortage of workers but even if they could record a few of the workouts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and just run or show them on Tuesday and Thursday that would be a great help. I try to exercise at least 5 days a week and would love to have something to follow on Tuesday, Thursday & possibly Saturday? I know the Y is very important to the seniors in our area and many agree about this. Thank you.
I am a senior and also a cancer survivor. I was able to attend the fabulous lives Strong programs led by Rebecca who is a phenomenal teacher. I find now that I have continued with water aerobics. The pool is warm the instructors are fabulous and the camaraderie is great. I highly recommend attending the Y
