Kiana and the staff have done a great job so far this year! I see a big change in the program from last year. She does activities with the kids and I really feel like she has made big change for the better this year. The staff is great too! I always see them throughout the playground making sure all kids are being watched and engaged. I can’t thank Kiana and her staff enough for this year!
Coach Caelan does a fantastic job with the sports mania! With my 3 year old, it's something more mania than sports 🤪 but Caelan does a great job trying to wrangle them back in and try new skills. His calm demeanor works tremendously to help the kids remain focused and listening.
I'm very impressed with how receptive the Y has been to feedback and greatly appreciate how quickly changes have been implemented. It goes to show how much they care and want the best for their members and the kids.
Lots of options for both adults and kids
Coaches with great Attitude my son keep wanting to go back
Darren is so awesome with my toddler- at tball, ninja, basketball, and in the community spaces. He takes time to understand his skills and gives him the structure and support he needs. He’s very good at assessing skill levels and knowing how to promote strengths- My family appreciates him at the ymca.
Wendy is great instructor and teacher. She keeps things light and fun. I go to at least 3 of her classes a week. I love the community she’s built. She has an awesome way of including everyone and helping them get in-touch with their goals! She’s the best!!!
Thank you all
Kim and Ziggy
I like the adult programs offered.
Please check to see that all the basketball rims have nets on them, that are connected properly and intact.
Great people work there and it's clean!
The staff is friendly and they keep the place clean. I do wish there were more classes.
The kids have so much fun. There is some structure but not so much that the kids have to follow strict rules at their age. Teachers are very kind and accommodating to kids of all skill levels.
The coaches, the informal nature of the class, the variety of activities
Clean and organized, not too busy
Coach Darrin was great with the kids, even though they are young and not always the best listeners or paying attention. My son has enjoyed going each week.
Very welcoming
Because they have a great pickleball crew!
Super convenient, nice staff, like the options
Very clean. Great Pickleball courts. Lovely staff.
It is clean and Wendy’s welcoming personality makes it non-intimidating.
The teacher, Karissa, is great with the kids. She works so well with them and rolls with the chaos of trying to teach preschoolers gymnastics so well. The activities and goals are appropriate for the age group and both my daughter and I have only good things to say
The casual atmosphere and instructors
Miss Lindsay is extremely patient and kind! She is a great coach
I love the Y for my
Childrens basketball, floor hockey, and ninja time. I am disappointed in how the cheer program that we belong to is being handled, and will be searching for a new cheer team however.
I'd like my daughter to join
I enjoy playing Pickleball and the Y has hours that fit perfectly into my lifestyle
I also like the social aspect that the Y has to offer.
Community!
First, I'll say that the age is extremely hard to balance between too advanced and too unstructured. I think we've witnessed both so far. There was a day where the coaches seemed unprepared and it turned into a free for all session, which isn't all bad if the kids had access to different balls - even just a few kick balls or something. Even though it's only been three weeks, I'd like to see more consistency with the coaches (we've had different coaches each week). I'm hoping the one week of unknown was a fluke, since I'm not sure tag is really a sport - I'm hoping to see basketball, t-ball, floor hockey, kick ball, etc. Even hurdles and other track type events would be fun.
Either way, the opportunity is great. Pros so far have been the time of the class, the soccer classes, and that it's included as a parent/child class (although I think more parent involvement would be nice - not that that is from the Y's end, since the email sent out to remind parents to participate was nice). Love the idea/set up and looking forward to seeing it pan out!
Ideal location, modern facility, and great class experience for my kiddo.
Coach Darren works very well with the mixed aged group for soccer. He shows lots of patience with the kids.
Clean facilities

Great staff and nice gym
