Convenient to my house and variety of programs
My kids are excited to go everyday and never want to miss a day. They come home happy and tired having learned new things while attending. The archery is a huge hit with my 8 year old daughter, it’s something she otherwise wouldn’t have experienced at her age. My children also come home talking about how much they enjoy their camp counselors as well.

Great splash and play pools for kids
The pool area is so much fun. Also I had an amazing experience in Jan’s foam rolling class! She is incredible and such a great teacher and person!!

I wish I would get photos to see what my camper is doing while at camp. For the price paying I would love to see photos. Other than that it’s a great experience for the kids
Absolutely wonderful camp. The counselors are very patient and supportive and the theme weeks keep my kids engaged and enthusiastic. They’re especially excited about all the swimming and boating activities.

Diverse and traditional summer day camp, my daughter raves about it and looks forward to it every year. I have peace of mind because I know she is happy, safe, and having fun. To me, Camp Dory represents what camp should be.🙂

We love ymca in Ipswich, the splash pad is so much fun for kids.
The diversity of activities throughout the day keeps it interesting! My child loves to swim and climb so she looks forward to those activities most. She loved trying archery for the first time and is excited for her next week at camp cedar mill.

My daughter had an amazing time, she was camper of the week which really boosted her self esteem. She tried new things such as paddle boarding and kayaking. The inclusion team did an excellent job reaching out prior to make her camp week successful. I am thankful for all the counselors and trainings they did to prepare to have the kiddos have such an amazing week. Thanks again Camp Dory!
My child is shy and a bit more anxious than your typical 8yr old. When signing him up for Camp Dory I think I was more worried than your typical mother on how it would go, wondering if he'd not want to go back after one day. I was brought to (happy) tears when he came home after his first day smiling and telling me everything they did and excited to go back! I was so happy and relieved knowing he was going to love summer camp.
I don't believe my son would have had this wonderful experience if it wasn't for the amazing staff. They are the reason why he feels comfortable, included, safe, and excited to return the next day.
I couldn't be happier with this program and would recommend it 10x over.
