Staff kind and helpful. Clean facility
We had an amazing time at the Ipswich YMCA. The front office staff was super friendly and informative. The splash pad was clean and the life guards were amazing.
The Ipswich family YMCA is a wonderful local gym and sports center.
I visit the gym weekly, and shoot some hoops or take a dip in the pool on occasion. The steam room helps me Sooth my achy joint in the winter time., And l love seeing the families take advantage of this wonderful nonprofit local family/youth organization facility.
Great environment, nice staff, has everything you need to stay healthy and grow old gracefully.
The Y is a place that welcomes you and provides such a great array of fitness options and equipment. It is the perfect after work undo for hours of chair sitting!
Clean, convenient, excellent support!
Everything I need to stay healthy, clean facilities and friendly staff. Great kids club!
Great staff!
I’ve been a member for 6 years. I am a disabled Veteran so greatly appreciate the consideration that you provide with a reduced rate memebership. It’s an important part of my physical rehabilitation. —It’s well kept and staff is friendly too. I appreciate the YMCA!
The teachers and staff are amazing! Everyone is so welcoming. No matter what class your child is in ALL the staff know the kids and parents. They do cute activities around certain holidays like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day they had the parents come in to mingle with the kids and parents. It was nice way to meet the other parents. You can tell these teachers all love these kids and love the job. Highly recommend
My kids are able to use our local lake and have fun so close to home.
clean facility; good staff
Love their outdoor pool and splash pad
Kids are fully engaged. Camp counselors are great.
Lots of swimming, fun and age appropriate activities, good rain plans, no screens.
My child said she liked it a lot
I also am very happy with the early drop off late pick up that helps out in a lot of ways. My grandchild have been going there for several years. They are very happy.
My kid loves nature and spending time outside. The pool and crafts are great
I love that all 3 of my kids really enjoy camp. The different activities they rotate through are fun for them and they all have their favorite councilors.
Because when I go to the Y I not only see neighborhood friends, I watch everyone lift each other up - the encouragement is contagious!
It’s got a lot to offer, no matter what you choose to do for exercising.
Year after year, my son raves about Dory! Will loved fishing and boating on the lake, playing sports and fun games. Counselors are fun and engaging! And I always felt like safety was of upmost concern, especially when it comes to the lake and swimming.
People are friendly and the facility is well equipped to provide a variety of fitness programs.
Love the way that the community comes together at the Y. The gym has lots of fitness machines with all ages working out. I can watch TV while doing 3 miles on the tread mill. This summer watching the little ones stream in and out of the pool is a delight. It's a great way to stay healthy.
Healthy option of activities
A wide variety of classes and nice people.
I enjoy the classes and the friendly faces
Water aerobics
Friendly staff, wide selection of equipment, local
We love the staff at the Y in Amesbury! Our two sons have been there just under a year and they both enjoy learning and playing. The staff is engaging and warm.
I love the Amesbury early learning program the teachers are great and really connect with my toddler definitely put me at ease leaving him in someone else’s care. The whole team is amazing from him moving from the infant room to the toddler

I love the advanced Pickleball group, but the air conditioning/HVAC situation in the gym needs to be addressed. The ducts need to be cleaned, the vents need to be reoriented to face away from the walls and the gym needs to be air-conditioned better during summer heat waves. This is an older cohort of individuals using the gym and there has been a little response to multiple requests for help in this area over the past few months.
