I attend Gloucester and Ipswich Ys while Beverly does a wild upgrade of both locker rooms and we are forced to swim in foor water in pool changing area and change there behind closed doors. Should have divided with partitions. Very poor planning. Need a double or triple size crew. Ipswich is obviously much smaller and machines very close. Do all the classrooms need to be void of any equiptment? I would spread the equip. into those rooms that are often empty. Move to the walls for class usage. Staff is very friendly and parking not an issue. Locker area is roomy and showers always available. . Hot water is great and easy regulation. All other aspects terrific.

I don’t swim, but I spend some time in the pool area while my grandson is at practice. I’m constantly impressed with all the instructors for their expertise, patience and guidance. This is especially true with the very young and special needs children.
The Ipswich Y is the most genuine local YMCA that I can imagine.

There are a lot of different classes and times to pick from. Just about all the equipment you need for a workout. Everyone is very upbeat and willing to help if you need.
