Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The Y is a great place to go for all ages!! The options are endless! One comment for improvement, the pool needs to be cleaned. There is all sorts of gross stuff floating around, hair, paper and who know what else. We swim most mornings and when we asked we were told it is vacuumed every night? Thank you!!

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The Y has a lot to offer everyone of different interests and abilities from a wide variety of exercise equipment to activities in the pool and group exercises, etc. It is big, clean and bright. Because of its large size and layout, you never feel crammed into a small space with others.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

Great equipment and clean. However, please fix the weather portion of the TV’s that flip around. The time is off by 5 hrs, and the forecast is off. Not sure, but it may be looking at Gloucester, England.

The Y is perfect for me
My only concern is the cleaning
I have noticed it more and more
I use the family showering rooms
They are in desperate need of a good cleaning
I have spoke to several people that work at the Y
But nothing has been cleaned
This issue needs to be addressed ASAP

The Y has helped me become a better version of myself, both physically and emotionally. I love the mentorship that the staff and other members give. It lifts me up and makes me work harder and feel proud of myself.

The Cape Ann YMCA is a clean, beautiful, well appointed facility with everything one needs to get in shape. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable, and the gym “vibe” is cordial and non judgmental.
