It has everything I could possibly want from a community facility focused on health and wellness! Its always clean, has terrific staff, many options for group or individual exercise, and has great communication.
The Aquatics staff is terrific but the addition of Coach Elinor now makes Gloucester’s Y exceptional. Elinor brings a great deal of experience and common sense. Children’s swim classes are equally educational for the parents and this is where Elinor excels.

It’s clean and most of the instructors are good. It’s just too expensive for a non profit community center. Even for a senior.

Good choice of gym equipment, facilities are very clean, clean wipes are available throughout the facilities and the members are encouraged to clean the machines when done.
My grandson attended the soccer/sports camp last year and again this year. Liked it so much this year that he is joining a second session.
The facility is wonderful and so are all of the staff.

I consider the Y my second home. The staff are always warm and welcoming from the moment I arrive until I leave. I have also made so many friends through classes and always look forward to seeing them. The offerings in classes is so diverse and I always find something that will fit in my schedule.

i trust the safety of the program for my child, my child always feels safe and happy and proud during and after his sessions, he's learning and progressing quickly in the preschool program as a new swimmer, and I receive feedback after every session. the staff is doing a great job and are very personable!
We are thoroughly enjoying and getting a lot out of both private swim lessons for our oldest son and from the parent child swim lessons for our youngest.

The vibe and commitment from the Y leadership to provide an environment conducive to improve and or maintain goodphysical and emotional health . Some equipment is slow to be repaired or replaced at times but I recognize and appreciate the difficulties and efforts put forth. I would add that the leadership gets it,when it comes to their employees , always a smile,always prompt when asking for assistance ,when you walk thru The door be it 7a.m. or 430pm a friendly greeting and face👍😀
