PGA Jr League gives my son the opportunity to play competitive golf with other kids around his age. Our PGA Jr League program is very well organized. It’s a great experience for my son. He looks forward to the spring and fall PGA Jr League sessions every year.
Our son had a great time, and really got some good golf in. He also met a lot of great people.
It is a great program for kids to see if it is something there are interested in. I just feel like age groups are a little miss matched and I feel like the older kids should have more help by the coaches. Yes the little ones too but this may be something to think about
I very much liked the learning environment of the Jr. League. While there was an element of competition, the primary focus was on learning the rules and strategy of the game. The skills that are taught to the children in the league are: perseverance, team-building, and strategic focus.
I would very much recommend this program to all children, but especially those in lower socio-economic levels as a way to gain social mobility through sports.
The opportunity
I like the weekly tournaments that are not too serious. It helps kids get to know the game of golf without too much pressure.
Allowing to kids to compete against each other
I think the program is amazing! I do however wish that it was longer and that it did summer and fall.
I like that the PGA Jr. League helps kids learn the game of golf, improve their skills, and is low cost.

Learning experience for my daughter. Scholarships are really helpful to have my daughter be able to attend because I am a single parent.

Great program for youth golf.
This is an amazing program! Both my children started with 1st tee and have now played in 2 PGA seasons. We love the environment created by the coaches, the hands in learning, and the amazing opportunities golf provides!
