Both of my children, ages 7 and 13, improved in their swing skills and putting. My son (age 13) improved his chipping and short game tremendously! The coaches were there to assist, but weren't overbearing. The coaches had a huge class of students and organized very well. The tournaments were interrupted by the weather, but instead of just cancelling, the coaches brought the kids inside and they all practiced their putting! This improvisation instruction made us all feel like our money was well spent and the time with the kids are important to the coaches. I highly recommend this program to all of my fellow parent friends and look forward to enrolling my kids into the next league for fall!
I love the team's commitment to the kids or adults that come golfing and enjoy great experiences at the golf course.
Kids have fun learning and competing.
Fun way to start kids playing gold. Let’s them grow into competition on their own.
The coaches were great. My son learned a lot. Well worth the money paid
Great time and experience for the whole family.
The smile on the kids faces, makes it all worth it.
Awesome experience!
Excellent staff and program
Henry and the rest of the crew have created such a great environment and culture for these kids. Their positivity, passion, and patience helps our kids grow on and off the course. They set goals and achieve them regularly. I am so happy with the league!
It teaches beginners the game of golf, in practices and then in games. Small group instruction is great in golf!
My boys loved it! They could have used more instruction though. They were happy they got to play a lot but didnt know how. They were told what do do but not how to do it. I think helping them with technique a little more would have been great.
The children get instruction for actual competitors.
Coach Eli Eilers was awesome! Made it so fun and educational for my daughter
It's an amazing program that teaches the basics of golf. I didntvlearn any of it until I was an adult. It really helps make kids aware of this sport the would not otherwise look into
They care about not only golf but my child. They are always looking for ways to encourage them. Matt is amazing!!
This is a very well run program. Henry Stetina is a great instructor and runs a amazing program.
The coaches are amazing!!!!
I love the friendliness.
My son learned so much from the amazing coaches.
My son loved it!
We loved our experience with Junior PGA. It was a wonderful way for new kids to get out there and learn the game of golf. I only wish there was at least one club offering a program in Albuquerque in the Fall. My daughter wants to keep playing!
Great program, focused on development, no parent interference.
I love the Jr PGA it has got to be the best sports environment for kids to be in. I would recommend it to all parents.
PGA Jr. League at Sonoma Ranch Golf Club was extremely organized. We all received information before hand and knew exactly where to go, what we were doing during each PGA Jr. League event. Practices and play days started promptly on time. First name removed's skills developed during this time due to the coaches that are involved and cared to see all the players succeed.
I would have to narrow it down to three critical likes:
1. My son enjoys the game of golf - he is growing in confidence, maturity and independence
2. My son has found a safe and completive sport where physical features are not selected by coaches, such as in youth football, baseball, basketball and soccer.
3. Thru the PGA jr league, my son has established realistic goals of continuing the sport of golf at high school and actually has a dream of playing collegiate golf - after that its a life long opportunity
The experience!
It gives all kids a chance to learn how to love the game of golf
I like that PGA Jr. League makes golf into a team sport. It's a completely different environment than traditional youth golf programs.
My son and I both enjoyed the entire culture and atmosphere of the program. The players had fun while learning fundamentals and supporting each other. The coaches that my son worked with were both kind and encouraging. This was his first year in golf and after 11 years of playing baseball, this was a positive change of pace.
