We have had the best experience through the PGA Jr League. Our kids have so much fun learning the game and meeting new friends. The coaches are very helpful and patient with the kids. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience for our son who just started playing golf a year ago after being diagnosed with a serious heart condition. At first golf was his only option but he has quickly fallen in love with the sport and PGA junior league really jump started his experience for learning rules and quickly boosted his confidence. He made his middle school golf team this fall and attributes his experience with PGA junior league as helping him get there. The coaching was great with Matt Starr and the team feel was excellent.

Our son had a fantastic set of coaches, a wonderful course to practice and play at and he met many new friends. As a parent, I enjoyed watching my son have to maintain a positive attitude in the face of defeat, and stay humble when he won. Sad winter is just around the corner.

What a great way to get the kids started in the game. They are able to learn the game and still have the feel of being on a team. The format allows them to work together and feel comfortable making mistakes.

I would like to see the league play from the tees that you would if in the Championship. We played from the family tees, which going to the section Championship was a shock to my 7 yr old, even though he did well.
It was a great way for my kids to get introduced to match play and to play some great golf courses.
Our Coach, Kris Miller is fantastic with encouraging and teaching the kids how to play correctly.
The team/best ball and three "flags" per 9 holes format is perfect for young kids.
Fun as long as pro takes time to assess abilities and teach the kids. Our guy tossed a few bags of balls on the ground and said hit till they're gone.
Disappointed in only having four matches scheduled.
Love the potential of the program not the execution.

PGA Jr. League provides a great opportunity for kids to play with others who have an interest in golf. The kids get the opportunity for friendly competition while playing some great area courses. The younger kids get encouragement from the older kids and all levels are welcome to participate.
The atmosphere is very encouraging and allows the kids to explore the game of golf in a non-threatening arena.
