It’s a great format. Low pressure, focus on fun. While maintaining the competition and improving skills. By having partner golf- it takes pressure off the individual player. By winning flags, it takes the pressure off a bad hole. It’s a great stepping stone to future golfers

We have only experienced on season but the coaches made it the best! They matched the kids well, were extremely patient with the new kids and gave an overall excellent experience!
The structure of the league was very well organized so that my son was able to get a lot of practice work in on the range, the chipping green, and the putting green, while also getting a lot of practice in a competition setting with the matches that were played every other week. It was a good combination of practice and competition. The coaches were amazing also. My son had a lot of fun and his game also improved greatly too. We will definitely be coming back for another season of PGA Jr. League!

It is a great opportunity for kids of all ages to play golf. I am particularly excited about the opportunity for very young children (under 9) to participate in team sport. PGA is one the few opportunities (with the exception of Soccer) for a young child to participate in a small group sport and the parents can be involved in the game.

My son is 2 weeks into his first PGA Jr. League and so far, it has been great to see his enjoyment of golfing with players his age. I can see a growth of love for the game in him, which is positively rewarding, among making new friends and getting to understand the nuances of golf that can really only be felt when you play on the course. The facility is equally just as great for accommodating the players and for the overall maintenance of the course.

The coaches were excellent. It was our first experience for our son to golf with a group of peers. He loved the experience! The environment was laid back but challenging and it was fun to watch him grown in skill and sportsmanship.

Coach Heidi is incredible. The group of kids are also amazing. The Monday 9 hole competitions are very well organized by Heidi and Encinitas Ranch and St Marks Executive have been incredibly accommodating providing tee times. My daughter First name removed (9) is having an absolute blast with the competition and doing really well advancing her game.
