Organized . Good learning experience for young players about the game and rules and etiquette of the game.
Being part of team, learning more about golf and getting more experience.
The team format allows the players to form friendships that in an individual sport that golf usually is tends to be more difficult to achieve.
This format also allows the new to the game and the still learning to play a fun and still competitive way to learn and improve their skills, without having to do it all on their own.
Absolutely everything. I love that there is a program like this do little kid and teaches them to love the game at a young age.
The opportunity to receive coaching from professionals and the way they make it fun.
The experience my Five year old has had is exceptional. First name removed has grown some, gained some much needed manners, & etiquette on & off the course.
I will be enrolling my son for years to come.
Thanks so much for the oppurtunity.

I love the team format, teaching young junior golfers how to play for each other.
Opportunity for kids to learn to play golf in a fun and low stress environment.
LOved the jr league, however the kids are there obviously to learn and some parents were a little too serious. I think more leniency with the younger kids is needed. It was my 8-year-old daughters the first year and my husband neede to help her on occasion.
Team format and having jerseys with a number on the back. Very fun and relaxed setting.
The program was wonderful. Coach Tim was amazing!
Team atmosphere.
Our daughter has learned many golf skills, made new friends across our county and is learning good people/communication and teamwork skills while participating in Jr PGA. This is a great opportunity for kids.
the form mat of play and being able to play on courses that we would other wise not have access to. The team sprite made it very enjoyable for the kids.
we loved our coach, Rob Tovias at Olivas Links. I loved seeing my kids out on a coarse finally getting to see what all the practices are helping them to accomplish. Playing around the county on different courses definitely made them have a bigger appreciation of golf. Lots of fun.
Everything - everything you said on the CBS show is spot on. Being part of a team, realizing golf can be a team sport (which it is in HS and college), not having the pressure of every shot being critical as it's a 2 person scramble. But, also a little more relevance to your shots than a 4 person scramble. Have to utilize strategy and talk it out as a team, etc.
But, number one, far and away, is the coaches and the attitude and the atmosphere they create. It is never about winning or losing - it's about having fun. All the other sports around here are WAY to serious at a young age and want the gold medal or first place. And, they want you to dedicate yourself full time (which, is all about $$, not being their best). Golf NEVER does that. It's about having fun, enjoying the game and being respectful.
It is just a great experience and the perfect way to start "competitive" golf.
What I like about PGA Jr. League is the fact that kids get a great introduction in the World of Golf. I enjoy the morning out on the practice greens and driving range enjoying nature with fellow golf students and parents. Also the coaching staff is great at explaining the golf drills and exercises and bring a fun and exciting atmosphere to learn in. Thank you PGA Jr. League.

Thank you for the opportunity to allow our son the privilege of attending your program ,especially as a military kid. Our son is a sports freak and outside kid, so participating in this program added to his resume and as a single player sport, built onto his self-confidence and patience.
The encouraging atmosphere
Great in building confidence and team work.
It’s very good program for our Youth! It is getting more popular now then ever before because of golf. Many parents are enrolling their children in golf now.
Great for the kids
Great!. The scramble format allows for a much more forgiving and enjoyable experience for the children.
Wonderful
This has been the best experience for my son. He has gained confidence and has had so much fun playing on a team.

Enjoyed the competition and to be able to play with friends. Also liked to play other golf courses in the area. Wish the league was longer.
