The competition and sportsmanship
This is a great format for young golfers. Practice time with qualified coaches and actual match play in a fun but competitive environment.
I think this is a great way to get my daughter some playing time. She is just a beginner but she enjoys going out and swinging a club and putting. I appreciated how laidback of each week was, since I want her to enjoy playing and later on can get more serious if she wants.

The opportunity for my boys to play in a team environment. It also is nice to see them have an opportunity to mentor new players in the game of golf.

Great opportunity for kids to work as a team, but also keeps them competitive. Unfortunately we didn’t play many matches because summer is hard to schedule...and it rains just about every afternoon.

My son very much enjoyed the summer league and would strongly recommend to anyone wanting to play. Only downfall is we only have league in summer. Would love to see fall league near me also.
Suggestion to Coaches: In Florida, there are frequent rain showers! When there are more than two players in a group, the coach should make players 2 and 3 either: (a) swap even and odd holes or (b) player 2 plays holes 1-3 & 7-9 and player 3 plays 4-6. This way all the players have a chance to play a few holes before rain stops the match.

My son joined the PGA Jr League after spending the summer at PGA golf camp and continuing his lessons. He really loves playing golf and improving his skills. The instructors have been very professional and have been great with my son.
