We love that PGA Jr. League keeps junior golf fun for all ages. We believe it has been the best opportunity in golf for our children to build friendships and not feel the pressure as they do in tournament golf. They look forward to these tournaments the most. My son has played on 150+ tournaments but never a scramble. He absolutely loved it because if he hit poorly, his partner could help him and vice versa. The stress level was so much less and he actually enjoyed golf with his friends. He can't wait until the next season!
We really enjoyed this league and my daughter said last week that she wants to do it next year without question. Everything was well planned and prepared. We appreciate all the efforts.
My only suggestion would be to make sure to mix up the girls and boys on other teams to ensure the girls get a chance to play against more girls.

The coaches and it is great practice for the kids as well as the parents. We loved watching all the kids play and practice not just our own. The talent is amazing. Wish the league could be year round.
The comradiere between the girls and their families is GREAT! The format also allows less strong girls to get out on the course and build confidence.

Kids enjoyed the social aspect and playing golf with friends. Golf is often a solo sport so it was nice to be playing with friends for a change! It’s also low pressure compared to tournament golf bc the scramble format.
