Great chance for kids to learn the game and rules.
I think that Bandon Dunes does a great job at organizing practices and competitions. I would however like that maybe the older kids 11, 12, 13 be paired up against the same ages more.

This program gives them some focus and direction and the opportunity to compete; that combination is all it took for our son, now age 13 and in the program for two years, to move his golf to the next level.
He loves it and we are looking forward to the next season.

It was a great opportunity for our child to have fine while learning the basics of golf.
I like the fact that the kids get in some practice with PGA Pros and also get the feel of competition with the match play format. Stroke play would be too discouraging at the younger ages. I like that they get to meet other golfers their age.
That it relieves pressure on the younger kids by playing a scramble format, and that the instructors are very encouraging and knowledgeable.
This was our first session on PGA JR. We were so impressed with the coaches and other players. The golf community was so welcoming to our 6 year old new player and very patient teaching him the game. He loves it so much and can't wait for the next session.
It was a great introduction to golf for my son and he greatly improved while doing it!

The concept.
What I don’t like is that as kids, They should be able to partner with local golf courses to give the kids free or discounted range fees. Instead, there is no incentive for them to learn
J participated in two different leagues. Both had an extremely professional staff. One facility had great teachers who truly made a difference.
The community and the coaching and the positive experience my child has had in his confidence building through positive interactions.
