New groups to compete with and against each meet, the flag format was appropriate, the length of meets and the season was captivating for the age and skill of my child to be motivated to grow and do their best the whole time and see improvement.
Fun and engaging environment for my children
I like how it has helped my son with confidence in his game. Coach Steven Storey has been a big help in him learning some basics in a great environment. Not high pressured, and making it fun for all the kids. First name removed has really improved over the past year and a half.
I love the team and scramble format. It is fun for the kids to both make new friends and learn the game better. I also like that parents don’t have to coach.
First of all, the staff is amazing. They genuinely care about the kids and their growth as both golfers and team players. Secondly, my golfer has had the opportunity to play at multiple golf courses. There is no better practice than playing on real golf courses.
Finally, my child has made some awesome friends within the Jr. PGA. That has allowed him to have a lot of fun during the tournaments. The Jr. PGA is an outstanding program because of the staff, players, and golf courses.

The atmosphere
I love the format and how the kids are paired with different teammates each week. They are encouraged to shake hands and introduce themselves while making eye contact. They must learn to work with a new teammate each week. They must decide whose ball they are going to play, not only are they getting to play golf, but they are learning life skills in the process!

The different format and team atmosphere gives golfers of all ability levels a chance to play together.
We like how fast the round goes. 1 hr is great pace for 6 holes of kids. Also like how accommodating chuck is with scheduling tee times around our soccer schedule
