The coaches are good, especially Mark Hitala. Its fun for my 12 year old son to team up with other 12 year olds and compete against other 12 year olds. the All-star tournament was fun too.

My daughter learned so much. The coaches were kind wonderful and patient, every time we went to hit extra balls on the non-practice days Doug would come by and talk to my daughter and give her a little tips and tricks when he didn’t need to and it was just so wonderful. He is a very kind and patient and caring Coach and we are lucky to have had him.

The PGA Junior League at Almaden Golf and Country Club is outstanding. It is run by people who truly care about bringing the next generation of golfers to the game. Our son joined when he was six years old and he has grown to love the sport.
The format is good for younger kids, and helps develop camaraderie. Also allows them to compete without getting too frustrated when they don't make a great shot.
The kids can socialize and learn that golf is fun and competitive.
Excellent and dedicated coach Chuck Harris who cares about the kids, their growth in both golf and life. Great teamwork and camaraderie.
We appreciate how organized the league is and Coach Molly is a great communicator. Great volunteers as well! Our son grew a lot in his golf skills as well.

Our son is having a great time playing PGA Jr League. The only thing I would change this year are the shirts! Last year’s material was so much nicer! Also, we received them 2 weeks into the season. We were told there was a delay in the shipment
The inclusivity, the focus on competition, the scramble format that takes some pressure off the competition.
Coach Jeff Allen and his team run a great program for the kids, where they learn to play and love golf in a fun environment. The kids develop social and life skills in the process. Competitions are encouraging, and the entire experience is positive for the kids. Great job, Jeff!
