PGA Jr. League is an outstanding program. The golf skills and techniques that are taught are very helpful to the kids. Playing other courses and other players is a terrific opportunity for the kids to engage in competition and improve their game.
We love the team approach, focusing on good sportsmanship and respect of the game. The scramble format for match play is a great way to promote a love for the game without stressing about each stroke. Our children gained much more than just golf knowledge.

The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, and inclusive, and interact well with the kids. The system of practicing one day then playing tournaments the next really helps prepare the kids for tournament play later on in a fun low pressure environment. There seems to be a good balance between making the kids better golfers and taking it seriously, while keeping it fun.
It is a great program especially for new golfers to improve their game quickly. Our club was fantastic as well. My son progressed quickly and can’t wait for next season.

Great tournament experience for kids!
Great way for my kids to meet new friends from the league as well as learn about the nuances of the game as they play on different courses and competition. Lastly, sportsmanship, etiquette, and ethics are also key learnings that they will leverage forever.

The competition format mostly. It makes the game more inviting and enjoyable for kids picking it up. Golf is tough regardless of age or ability level. The best ball format really opens it up to youth of all levels.
We love that it is actually golfing not just lessons
We've signed up but haven't started yet, but between this and Youth on Course it seems like a great way to get our 10-year old son interested in golf.
Love the all-star format
The team aspect. First time my son (14yrsold) participated in the pga junior league. He definitely enjoyed it. He was able to make all stars which was a great motivation for him. Definitely will be signing up again next season.
I love the format! As someone who grew up playing competitive golf, I really would've appreciated a league like this as a kid. I'm happy that no matter how well or poorly my kids are playing, they're able to make a contribution. I also think it does a great job of teaching kids that they can recover from bad shots.
