Consumer Testimonials
I like that the children learn how to play at the same time having friendly competition
Coaching and playing opportunities
My son had a great experience with his first Jr. League season. I feel like he really improved across the season and truly enjoyed his time in the program. We look forward to next spring!
The only thing we did not always enjoy was that he was often paired with 2 other players, which meant less playing time than if he were just playing with 1 other player.
Coach Joe is great! My kid loves him.
My son loved the program and thought the lessons and competition were fantastic.
Great introduction to golf at a pace suitable for all ages and talent
Coaches are great very enthusiastic about getting kids playing golf!
They help guide the children to explore their talent.
I like the team aspect
Great program and good intro.
The way in which our coach Brian Mackey at NJCC runs the program.
Kids learn etiquette in addition to learning the game. They also learn great life skills such as responsibility for their own bags. It is am inclusive program - open to all genders, ethnicity and skill levels. Very organized.
Golfers have the opportunity to play at various Golf Clubs. The coach, especially Mark Thornewell from Haworth, NJ is exceptional!
Brandon is amazing with the kids. He gets each of their abilities and personalities to be able to have them reach their potential.
Diversity of golf courses for junior play
Good number of matches at different golf courses. Our coach works very hard to line these up. The coach treats all the players fairly and makes sure everyone has a chance to play.
the experience of real golf at real course with their peers while having support and encouragement from teachers and parents
Chance for kids to learn golf at a fundamental level - a collaborative sport where you are accountable to yourself.
Competitive but focused on fun. Navesink teaching pro Jared was outstanding.
Improving my sons skills
Great opportunty for kids to play golf
opportunity for kids to play other clubs and the instruction
We liked the great coaches and weekly practices and Sunday matches. It is a fun experience for the kids and family.
Liked the way my junior had fun in the filed. He wants to go for it again next year.
I like that it gets the kids playing on the golf courses to help them experience what it is really like.
Lot's of playing time and fun for kids.
Lots of opportunities for young golfers! Great programs and great opportunities for learning as well as playing in different courses.
All tournaments/ programs are very well organized!
The league gives young girls the opportunity to experience the sport of golf in a more authentic manner. It also provides a low cost approach to developing children’s athletic, social and emotional skills.
It's been a good way to get course time and meet other kids. This is our first time golfing and it's a low key way to get interested in the sport and overcome challenges. Would have preferred more on course coaching especially for those of us who don't golf. Also is there a good way to also know the families better through other social events?
