More explanation on what to expect would have been helpful. I did go to the PGA Jr League golf site and get some info. Hopefully our second year will go more smoothly.

My son's favorite part was the meets, however, was disappointed there were only 2 (other than the section championship). We were under the impression there would be around 4, our hope is there are more next year.

We love the format. The fact that the league is equally accessible for all skill levels is awesome. Our coach, Adam Coates, is absolutely awesome with all of the kids and we are lucky to have him!

It gave my son great experience and confidence in his golf game. Trainers were patient and great with the kids! It was an age appropriate introduction to the game, and an opportunity for kids to learn respect and responsibility on the course! Will definitely be signing up next year and siblings in the future!!

Coach Alex is a fantastic coach who encourages and is a great teacher who helps fix frustrations! We also like that we get to play surrounding towns on different golf courses.
PGA Jr League allows kids the opportunity to learn the basics of golf in a safe environment. Our PGA Jr League Captain does an outstanding job in teaching our kids the fundamentals of golf along with being good sports. Jr League gets kids off their video games/phones and out moving. Golf courses in our league are very helpful in allowing parents to use golf carts for free and give range balls to competitors for free. I wish the courses in the Nebraska Junior Tour would do the same. I highly recommend Jr League to anyone just starting or has been golfing for many years.

My son loved playing as part of a team and the coaching he received was excellent. His growth as a golfer over the summer was phenomenal and his love of the game grew as well. It was so fun to watch the young golfers discover their strengths and learn respect for the course and each other.
