Consumer Testimonials
We love the high quality program and excellent coaches. The kids enjoyed the competition and learned so much.
Our 11. year old son had a great experience!
Great facilities, knowledgeable coaches. The golf community as a whole is welcoming. Just a great environment all around.
The caliber of kids and parents is exceptional!
It's a perfect program to get young kids interested and involved in an organized team sport, and help them learn a skill that will benefit them the rest of their lives. Providing access to great coaches and real courses emphasizes that this is intended for more than just recreation, but the atmosphere and support from the league and parents reminds the kids that it can be fun too!
The kids are allowed to apply what they are learning from the PGA Jr. coaches with playing at the various golf courses against other kids.
How welcoming it is.
It is a fun and relaxing environment for learning to play Golf. The Kids are learning how to be team players and compete with each other.
In addition to focusing on skill development I love the emphasis on knowledge of rules and etiquette.
Incredible coaching staff at Hog Neck golf course.

Pete Siemsen! He's a wonderful coach. He is encouraging, positive, and fun!
Provides a positive growth mentality and wonderful emphasis on building relationships. Also, wonderful opportunity for family events at University of Maryland. The coaches are motivating and create lasting team bonds.
We love the PGA league! We absolutely loved our coach Scott last year. And we are missing the program this year so far. It doesn’t seem to be running…
Our instructors, Jordan and Trevor, worked very hard to make the experience very engaging for all the students/participants. They had fun while improving their game and making new friends.
coaches and friendly competition for kids
We cannot be more impressed with the PGA Jr. League process. It is based on equitable match play that allows each participant to contribute within a competition AND learn the fundamentals of sportsmanship, etiquette and rules of golf. Very impressed.
Great balance between fun and appropriate competitiveness!
Great opportunity for Jrs to learn the skills and practice on a course. The instructors are knowledgeable and make learning the game fun! Coach Chris has been a standout in his approach to coaching!
I love the practices and the matches. so much fun. Would be nice if there was more girls and also to make sure the girls get "equal" footing with the boys play.
Everything :) The coaches, ability to play at other courses.
Program with great coaches and opps to play for our kids
It has been a great opportunity for our son to learn more about golf and meet new friends.
Love that it is a team competition. My daughter plays competitive golf most of the year. She looks forward to PGA jr every season. Now she is older she loves being captain and helping the younger kids. This was her first year as an All Star and the memories of fun practices and tournaments will stay with her forever. Highly recommend PGA jr for all levels.
Coaching!
It makes it more fun, creates a true team environment from a pretty individualized sport, and also takes some of the pressure off of golfers due to the format. It has been an AMAZING experience for both of our boys, who have now aged out of the younger group. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find a teen option for them. Either no other golfers sign up, or the coaches don’t want to do the older group. Hopefully the 17u gets more focus going forward, because teens really need this opportunity.

What a great idea! Teams, jerseys, and playing with other kids. What is there not to like? I really appreciate how they pair the kids so there is someone experienced in the group to help the beginners, and that they discourage parents from getting too involved. I wish this was around when I was learning to play. We look forward to this coming season!
