A perfect introduction to golf and get the kids real time tourney play. The atmosphere is excellent! Teaching young kids the game of golf at such an early age is amazing! And its not just teaching to score, it teaching them sportsmanship, all the rules, scoring.

We had a great coach and team so this year was perfect. There were plenty of practice and skills drills.
Last few years we had a horrible coach and I would not recommend it. Just depends on your coach.
It was a great experience for my son
I have a daughter that played this summer. It was her first experience and she enjoyed it and made the all star team. I will say that the lack of girls on the all star teams for post season play was disappointing. She was the only girl on the team, and there were probably only 4-5 girls total in the 8 teams at the first stop. Browsing your Instagram, it also appears that most teams nationally have a single girl on the team at this stage. So about 10%? Is that the ratio of girls across all teams in regular season too? The way the postseason is set up, teams are at a disadvantage if they have more girls with the increased distance and playing from same tees at boys. Above avg boy golfers are ok with the distances, but it seems girls would have to be older/elite to keep up. Until you do something about this, I don’t think you will see postseason teams taking more girls. There were more girls on other teams in our local area that are much better than my daughter, be they didn’t get picked for the all star team. They got passed up for other boys. I would be interested to hear if the ratio of girls on postseason teams is relatively the same to that of regular season teams teams? If not why is that? Is it because they aren’t good enough to make the team or is it the way the postseason is set up? Maybe I’m wrong, I just know what we experienced. Overall, she had a blast and will play again next summer.
