Coach Carter is great and we have seen so much improvement in Balers game. And he’s enjoying the process! Looking forward to him beating me on the course soon 🤦♂️
Everything! Coach Josh was awesome. The format was perfect for kids just getting started into competitive golf. It was also so much fun traveling to other courses! Cant wait for next season!
Solid foundation for beginners
The team environment and friendships that are being made as well as families are coming together for an evening of fun.
Local competition, great coaches
My son truly enjoys playing
It was organized and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves. Thank you!
Fun, great way to spend time with family
Instruction by a golf pro, weekly lesson, weekly match to practice what they are learning. My son LOVED it! We plan to do it again!!
My son loves participating and has benefited greatly which in turn makes me extremely happy.
My son really enjoyed the weekly matches and being able to play holes at different courses.
Gives the kids lots of experience and how to learn to play more competitively and under pressure.
Jack Terry is a great coach and the kids are learning and having a great time.
I liked that the groups were a little smaller than first tee allowing a little more instruction. I also like that the kids got a chance to play tournaments in a scramble format so that each hit or putt wasn't make or break.
Great format to keep play moving! Both of our boys like getting to play with kids their age!
Competition and camaraderie. It helped to grow our junior golf participation.
The girls really enjoyed the program. Coach Eddie and Coach Fred put on a great season
Wonderful experience for the kids!!! They love it!
Everything. My son really enjoyed learning the game of golf.
The approach to teaching/learning golf and playing actual matches
the chance to play competitively for the little kids is great. they can apply what they learn in lessons to actual golf game. improve their skills. ability to go to state and beyond is extremely important
Scramble/team format is fun for the kids, although can be challenging for the younger beginners (deciding ball, marking, etc.)
Good introduction to tournament play.
Love the team aspect, but there are some pretty serious inequities in the process when some teams are made to travel 1000+ miles and incur thousands of dollars in expenses in the regional round only to play a team that is basically playing a “home game” and sleeping in their own beds .
Furthermore, the eligibility of a player to play on a particular all star team SERIOUSLY needs to be looked at. When North Florida can have a kid from Ann Arbor Michigan FLYING DOWN to join their team I think that kind of flys in the face of the spirit of the competition? No? Otherwise, we had a great time. I hope these kinds of issues will be looked at before next season!
This is an excellent program. My only concern is with the parents involvement. If there was a way to prevent parents from coaching the children while playing it would really improve the experience. Just let the kids play!!!
The competition and the coaches inspiration to the kids

Teaching ans experience to make my daughter better at golf.
