Consumer Testimonials
The relaxed atmosphere, not as competitive but more focus on learning.
It was a good experience for our son. He learned to play as well as being a good teammate/sport.
Organized, friendly competition. Great for beginners and young golfers!
Love the fact that it is competitive, yet allows some team playing mentality.
Coach Clint is great with kids. He made the league fun and also taught them a lot of fundamentals.
I really like the scramble format.
Very well organized.
Coach Beth Blevins is an amazing coach. She and Coach Ashton truly have a passion for golf and children. My son loves golf season and is sad when it comes to an end. We will be back every season!
My son enjoyed playing at the different courses. Also, he enjoyed the friendships he made (he is a very shy person). I saw him grow as a golfer throughout the season! I wish the season was longer or his area would participate in the fall season.
I appreciate the effort to teach team values and good sportsmanship. Bill Goggin (Southern Landings, Warner Robins) is a fantastic coach. He was supportive and patient while encouraging and celebrated along side the boys with each success. He created a fun environment and communicated goals with parents and players.
We loved the team atmosphere and set practice/tournament schedule. We have been in touch with our local First Tee (First Tee of Augusta) and have asked for them to host the fall PGA Jr League with no response.
Well formatted with great instruction and a good atmosphere.
I like how organized it was overall!
My boys absolutely loved it! We had the most fun all summer at the courses, and it helped their golf game tremendously. We also met some amazing friends that we will hopefully keep in touch with. It was a wonderful experience that we will definitely want again next summer.
The encouragement of beginners to have fun and get better doing it.
Getting young children involved with the game of game and learning the skill sets to be a good golfer physically and mentally and at the same time learning the ethics On the game of golf.
The inclusiveness and the camaraderie is really terrific. Such a nice respite from the tense world of AJGA, Hurricane, and even Drive, Chip, and Putt. Going forward, I would like to see an equal amount of attention placed on the U17 as more and more of the U13 kids that started out with PGA Jr League have now aged up into that division. My child played this year on an U17 team; however, when it came time for a statewide U17 match his team had qualified for at the end of summer it had to be cancelled due to not enough teams entered making it not worthwhile to do. That was really disappointing and not fair to those kids that had worked at and taken it seriously. It is really important the U17 be marketed correctly as well, otherwise the older kids will view PGA Jr League as, "something for little kids."
CHRIS! But the entire program - well organized, on-time events, good kickoff events, good communication from Chris/his staff. Our kids love it and we love that they're doing it!
How it’s not just focused on learning how to play the game, but also how to enjoy it!
It's a great place for the kids to learn to love golf in a low pressure sort of way.
good way to introduce kids to the game of golf in a fun environment.
Lessons that were taught along with the detailed golf instruction
Everything!
It gives the kids the opportunity to work together and learn course management.
This was my 8year old son's first year. He enjoyed the expert lessons and advise from our Pro Golfer Dean. He was very knowledgeable and patient with him and all the kids.
The program as a whole is amazing. My daughter has been playing for around 4-5 years now and having no golf background as well as family having no golf background, I owe it all to this program and instilling the love of the sport into her
Kids learn to understand the game of golf, and its competitive nature
