Great communication
The OW coaches were A+ and the engagement with other players helps the kids learn the game.
Kids can play on many different courses
It’s a great program to introduce your children to golf.
Such a great experience for the kids! We love the action and playing in the match play format.
Very well organized
The opportunity to play on courses.
I love the teamwork aspect and that it's coed. However, the one very large complaint I have is how females are put at a significant disadvantage to the male players, especially after age 12. They hit from the same tees until they turn 15 which is absolutely ridiculous. Females are not able to have a level playing field as a result. This needs to be corrected or you will see all male all-star teams, which is largely what you have now.
Organized and scrambles are great for kids to learn the game.
It was such a great way for the kids to be introduced to competitive golf. They learned so much about the game and being a part of a team.
Allows the kids to be part of a team and learn a game with little pressure since it’s a scramble format
The organization and structure
I liked the team environment and the coaching
The format is great. The scramble means less pressure on each shot for the kids, while still allowing them to shoot a good score.
team aspect. ability to play great courses.
The players are playing as a team.
Great instructors at MLA! Chris & Randy do a great job teaching the kids. The format is fun for getting kids introduced to the game.
It’s fun and low pressure for the kids to play golf. The matches are quite spread out. That can be both a positive and negative.
This is a great program for young people interested in learning golf. So glad Springfield has this!
Great introduction to the game of golf.
Competiton, structure, coaches and the ability for the kids to learn golf.
I think the team concept is great for Juniors. Golf is a tough game for kids to stick with because it's hard. Having teammates makes it much more enjoyable in my opinion.
Our son got so much out of the PGA Jr League. Coach Andy was amazing and the program was outstanding!
Fun format
PGA Jr. League is a low stress way of introducing kids to competing at golf.
I think the All-Star Tournaments should be separated by gender. It is a shame to see so few girls at the regional tournaments and beyond.
Awesome program and coach
The coaching is fantastic and very positive. It brought my Son's love of the game of golf out in a fun and competitive way. We love it!
