It's a great way to introduce young children to the game of golf. It teaches the basics, etiquette, rules, pace of play, etc. Plus they get to see different courses that they wouldn't normally have the opportunity to play.

Great experience overall. Our son loved playing golf in a competitive format. The Captain, coaches, parents, and all the kids were great. Even (maybe especially) amidst the COVID pandemic, this was a welcome breath of fresh air (pun intended). We hope to be able to be involved with the PGA Jr. League in the future.
Coaches were great during practice. Engaged with the kids. My daughter really enjoyed it.
It was a very well organized environment to help nurture new players, and help improve seasoned players. John and the Staff are amazing. Lyman Jr PGA definitely one of the few positives in 2020:)

Coaches and that this was a sport / activity that could safetly occur during the Covid pandemic was a blessing.
The program is amazing. The coaches are attentive and knowledgeable. The kids all have fun and learn not only the ins and outs of golf but also good sportsmanship. The team aspect leads to the development of friendships off the course. Every coach associated with the Berlin,CT Timberlin PGA Jr. League has taken the time to personally connect with each participant and individually adjust coaching styles so that every child improves.
My son loved it. It was fun. The whole family enjoyed watching.

Great engagement of the kids into the game of golf. They get to interact with each other, meaning kids of the same ages and ability, to really play golf.

That the kids learn at a early age the patience of golf and learn respect while playing with other players. It’s s wonderful sport and I feel that my 11 year old son really enjoys it.
