We love everything from PGA Jr League!
Great learning experience for younger boys
I like that it’s no pressure and it is a best ball format. It makes golf much more accessible and less scary.
Fun way to learn about competitive golf play for young kids.
Great place to start for al levels
The UNC Finley program was fabulous. I wish the program was longer.
Our family has participated in both the Drive, Chip, and Putt program as well as PGA Jr. League. I know that these are two very different programs, but I just want to share our experience with both, briefly. PGA Jr. League was nothing but a wonderful experience. The coaching staff was phenomenal. The kids had a wonderful time, learned a lot, and improved their games. The sportsmanship and camaraderie exhibited amongst the players and parents was exemplary. We could not be happier with our experience in the PGA Jr. League. Without saying too much, as I realize this is not the correct platform, I just want to say that the Drive, Chip and Putt competition was nearly the opposite of PGA Jr. League. Not only is it not an accurate representation of the players skill level, but also the way it is structured does not encourage sportsmanship, love of the game, or camaraderie in any way. The drive, chip and putt program is a good idea in theory, but the way it is designed is very flawed and should be re-structured. Thank you so much for providing the opportunity in PGA Jr. League...truly a wonderful program, through and through!
My 13 year old son really enjoys golf, but unfortunately it is very hard for me give him many opportunities to play due to financial hardship. The scholarships awarded to him (and many others) allows him the wonderful opportunity to participate! We love that they get cool gear (bag, polo shirts, and hat) to make the team look good! Thank you so much!!!
I liked the competition and team players.
The coaching was excellent. The match formats were fast and fun. My son even made some new friends as he learned more about the game, improved his skills and deepened his passion for Golf!
My son learned a lot and had fun.
Playing with peers, scramble format, not intense.
However, our player received her two shirts but never received her visor. Please send to Name removed, 95 Harmon Ave, Lake Junaluska, NC 28745. Thanks, Jack Bishop
Love that it makes golf a team sport. Kids love the uniforms. Get to meet other parents.
What I liked about the PGA Jr. League is that It was diverse amongst races. I liked the option of learning something new. I liked the inclusion of the students.
Swingpals has tought my son the sport of golf in addition to the emotional well-being, while keeping academics a part their program. The coaches did well in teaching my son in the game of golf, while also teaching my son how to stay calm when needed. During the pandemic, the maintained safetyy protocalls which made me comfortable. My family pooks forward to continuing being a part of Swingpals, and I recommend to any family to be a part of this exciting program
The team nature of the events.
Learning golf skills and the family fun.
Great program
Allowing my daughter to be on the course learning the game all while having fun with friends and meeting new people.
I am really perfect for kids
It keeps my son involved in an activity.
Whatta great positive growing experience our 10 yr old just had in her 1st PGA Jr season. Coach Bob Brooks, Greensboro Gillespie was super supportive, positive and passionate to make First name removed’s 1st team golf experience a powerful one. Looking forward to joining PGA Jr again in the Fall if we are invited. Great, forwarding program that sets our youth up to win, both on and off the course! Thank you for your support, let’s keep this going and grow it!
Gr8 progeam. My son loved it!
It gave our son a perfect introduction to the basics of golf in an encouraging environment.
You can make lots of friends and learn more about golf. You also get match exapierance
It provides a competitive professional environment for young children.
Great opportunity for our son to learn more about golf.
Our local coach, Pat Warren, is fantastic with the kids. The times are convenient, it isn’t an intrusive commitment for a great learning opportunity.
I appreciate that they teach our kids the basics of the game when they are younger, and help develop skills as they get older. I really appreciate that we are able to play on courses that we might not be able to access as a family (country clubs or courses w/fees higher than our family can easily manage).
Interaction between fellow junior players helps with team culture and golf etiquette.

Our coach is amazing!! The program is well organized and very informative.
