Having the kids be able to travel to other courses to play. Seeing different layouts and meeting fellow competitors. I feel like this goes a long way for them when thinking about playing competitively. Gives them a great head start with not only the physical part of the experience but the mental portion as well.
I enjoy being part of a program that gets kids interested in golf and enjoying playing golf. I think that the team aspect of it takes the pressure off of the kids and gets more of them involved. I also feel it is very well run by our local section.

I enjoy the opportunity to help young players develop their golf games and give them a vehicle to compete and meet some new friends.
The team concept and that every kid gets to participate. My team, when they are sitting out for the three holes, have really enjoyed assisting with the two that are playing. My older kids have really taken the younger ones and have become great mentors. The scramble format has less pressure for the kids to hit good shots everytime.
