Coach Testimonials
Its all about the kids!! Seeing them interact with other kids, on and off the course is priceless.
Great wat to get kids and their family involved with the game
Junior golfers improving, team spirit, parents watching golf and spectating, practices, matches, jerseys, and FUN, FAST and FRIENDLY golf !
We LOVE PGA Jr League! The organization of the program balanced with the freedom to schedule and execute on a local level makes the program successful, fun, and repeatable!
Provides a chance for all players to enjoy the game in a fun competitive atmosphere.
I have enjoyed watching the kids get more on-course playing opportunities and PGA Jr. League offers this in a perfect environment. The sportsmanship learning opportunities with some friendly competition is fantastic.
I can't say enough great things about PGA Jr. League and the first thing I would say to any professional who is not already engaged is...What are you waiting for?? The magic of the team environment to learn provides the opportunity to invite all kids in the community to join the fun, which leads to significant increases in engagement, activity, and revenue across the facility.
Great way to get kids to play straight away
Everything! I like the team scramble format that allows juniors of all skill levels ease into tournament play. Most importantly, I like to see families meeting and creating friendships that First name removed last a lifetime.
It provide a team spirit and desire to improve. It got the parents involved and coming out to encourage their kids to play. Provided good practice and was a good start for future lessons with that child. It was FUN for Kids and PARENTS and even GRANDPARENTS!
Family oriented
Fun and let’s the kids get out on the golf course
I really like the local league portion of the PGA Junior League calendar, as it provides an excellent team format that creates camaraderie amongst the kids. I don’t love the formation of league all-star teams and the postseason format, as I don’t think either foster the recreational and developmental aspect that PGA Junior League was founded upon.
That being said, I would still highly recommend PGA Junior League to other PGA Professionals.
Everything! I have never seen a more successful way for golf to compete with other Junior Sports! We are even starting the same format for a ladies group in the spring!
The team environment is a fantastic way to help kids fall in love with the game. I truly appreciate the flexibility of the program that is available through hosting your own league and I utilize it to create the best experience possible for the kids and their families.
I like how it gives the chance for kids who normally wouldn't play golf a chance to play.
This is a great format for kids of all levels of ability. Our better players are paired with the less experienced and mentor to them. The format is fun first, and is a great on ramp for those that want to get into more competitive tournaments. It is also a great format for those that do not want to get into more competition and just want to have fun with their friends.
Kids love being on teams. Fun to see them get on course experience and practice good sportsmanship. Such a great concept and the best support from PGA to help us be successful.
Great way to get kids playing immediately
Team format and competitive for all levels of play
I like that it gives a great opportunity to junior golfers of all skill levels. The team atmosphere is great to develop their social environment on the course and it seems to have really helped to create an excitement around the game for families at our club.
Everything
I enjoy the team practices and coaching our future PGA professionals. They are the future of golf and I'm just trying to pay back what I have learned, so that can pass it along.
I also enjoy watching the team and individuals succeed at tournament play, and also how they handle the losses and tough rounds. See how they learn...
PGA Jr. League is an awesome program for everyone. As a golf professional it is incredible to watch the juniors create friendships with teammates as well as the other kids from the other teams.
