It's great to get kids of all skills level playing with one another and encouraging one another. It helps the better players grow as we can put them in different situations and it always can help the beginner.
It creates a family environment at the Club, which then makes it possible to have player development programs for other family members. Our PGA Junior league program has led to an increase of 55 persons in our player development programs.

We have conducted an In House League for the past 6 years, which the membership absolutely lloves.
It's a fun and structured way to get the newer juniors involved in golf without scaring them too much. They learn camaraderie, sportsmanship and respect while learning how to play the game.

The PGA Jr. League provides youth with an opportunity to experience the full scope of the game of golf. Unlike private one-on-one lessons the League provides both a social component and an opportunity to play on the golf course.

Many things. The format has so much excitement and energy. It gets the kids on the course, not just the range. The kids get into competition which is positive/fun; the team atmoshpere is fun. It inspires kids to work on their game. Parents get involved and watch and the atmophere is fantastic. Great energy.
Our in house league has been a huge success, and is something my membership looks forward to each year. I highly encourage fellow professionals to incorporate PGA Junior League into their Junior Golf programming.

It is a great way to introduce golf on a team atmosphere. Also it allows better golfers a chance to mentor even if they really don’t know they are doing it.
It's a great introduction of the game through a format that is much more conducive to enjoyment, while still retaining the framework for learning the game properly.
I love the laid-back competitive team building and strategizing that these kids have to do. Plus the inner club matches are fantastic!
