Coach Testimonials
This is your opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth the game for generations to come. A PGA Professional will never stand so tall as when he stoops to help a junior golfer.
Team building getting the youngsters to collaborate and compete in a friendly environment
Great revenue stream for my Assistant Golf Professionals
The team format and the players feeling part of a team. The commutation tool is great also
Everything. The team aspect. The format. Team uniforms. Great revenue for pros and clubs. I could go on and on.
One of the best programs to get kids involved with golf
The kids really loved it and so did our staff! With our remote location the in-house league made it possible for us to have PGA Jr League for the first time this summer. We ended up with 21 juniors.
The League has united not only the youth in the program, but the underserved community and families of the youth. We have 16 to 20 adults who support the program financially as well as in person to lend a hand coaching when available. The support we receive from the district representative Brian Bain has been unbelievable in helping us enroll our kids. The practice and match play facility along with the memberships has embraced our program and applaud our efforts. Our next endeavor's will be Family Cup and Career Pathway for high school youth into golf.
    Thank you
The opportunity to work with kids, introduce them to the game and grow the game.
Team approach to golf, ancillary revenue opportunity, fun for coaches too
EVERYTHING!!!
Bringing youngsters together in a team environment and witnessing the friendships made.
PGA Junior League is a great way to introduce kids to golf. From the first practice to the last match it is fun to watch the way the kids mature in their game and attitude towards golf
Kids play as team mates. No very stressful on the kids. Competition without being super competitive. Money maker for pro and course.
Great way to introduce new golfers to the game.
I think it was a great program for the kids learning the game and learning the rules. Adding in some competition also makes it more interesting.
Growing the game of golf.
Growing the game of golf.
I love the team aspect of PGA Jr league. I also like the low pressure format but most of all I enjoy seeing the kids enjoying the game and each other.
Liked how the kids were able to play other golf courses and against other clubs.
I like the team component in the junior league. I think it gives kids of all ability’s the chance to compete.
PGA Junior League is the hands on playing approach for junior golf. I correlate to shooting pucks in front of the house as a kid, learning through action. I enjoy the family/ team feeling more than I expected along with the improvement of each junior golf. Truly rewarding.
Organized-team concept-fun atmosphere -east to run with Se app
Seeing Kids who are brand new to golf just love it!
We love the format and having the opportunity to have junior golfers play competitive golf against other clubs in the area.

For us the ability to be able take our team to other courses in our area and seeing the fun
that they are having
Getting the kids out there and learning how to play on course.

Uniforms and SWAG. Team play. I modify my league format to match Ryder Cup and the least experienced start with foursome alternate shot. It cuts 50% of the shots off of scramble format. Better players get to play single and fourball match play. This creates a constantly challenging program and makes kids want to improve faster
The marketing of PGAJL is great and kids see what’s up on TV.
I love growing the game and seeing the kids get all excited when they make a good shot or have some sort of other success. I also like how involved the parents are. It's great when you work so hard with a kid and something finally clicks and they can't believe how good they are hitting it.
