Coach Testimonials
The interaction of the junior golfers with each other.
I like all of what it offers the Kids and helps them to enjoy the game of Golf
I love the team atmosphere that it provides for juniors in an otherwise individual sport. Working together, dealing with adversity, celebrating success as a team - it is all encompassed with PGA Jr League!
Fun for the kids and good format other than the new all star selection stunk
It is the perfect way to introduce competetive golf without the pressure of playing on one's own.
Player friendly format
Teams are popular
Brings kids to the game
Everything! Team culture and family involvement are priceless.
A very good entry level opportunity for beginners . Also advanced players can
mentor beginners . We have seen children become more outgoing and gain
self confidence as their golf abilities improve .
Awesome to witness , whiffs to grounders to air !!
The experience with the children and their parents (usually !) is fantastic, the additional revenue is great, and I truly notice that perhaps the biggest effect of all is on me !
Two person team scramble format.
It makes golf fun and low stress for beginners. The team aspect and the fact they meet other kids in their age group who also play golf is a great thing. I have also noticed parents and siblings taking an interest after their child gets into it a little. I really wish this program was around when I was a kid.
It is a great way to introduce competition to beginner and intermediate golfers.
Gets kids started in Golf
The structured aspect of the events
Parent involvement, team play, FUN
It gets juniors into competition who likely wouldn't be under other formats
Great Team atmosphere, teaches not only golf, but playing golf. Also help to build honesty, character and the social aspects of life.
Kids love the team and social aspect!
The combination of learning and playing plus competition.
The 2-person scramble is perfect.
The kids love it! The format is good for all abilities.
Great introduction tool for beginners
JR League is a great way to get kids involved in the game in a fun and friendly setting. Kids of all levels of golf can enjoy this league. It introduces beginners to all the aspects of the game.
It's also a great way to meet fellow Professionals in the surrounding area that we are not capable of doing on a daily basis.
It's always nice to create another revenue stream, but that pales in comparison to the eternal value of interaction with the kids and their parents, and getting to know the people on the opposing teams and their families. It's a bit overwhelming to see these young people play, practice and compete. It's a breath of fresh air in what can be a stale world.
It is the absolute best Junior Golf Program in the country to get kids involved with golf in a fun way. The kids can learn the game and not have the stress of playing in an individual competition.
Family interaction
The kids love it!!!!
The program is easy to implement, and the help you receive is phenomenal. This is a great program to help get kids on the golf course and teach them how to play the game. One of my favorite parts of the program that I enjoy watching is the interactions and relationships between the kids on each team. The first practice is quiet as they get to know either other, then you really get to see the friendships and bonding occur, just like in a normal team sport.

There are 3 very good points. 1. It promotes playing golf. Yes there is instruction but unlike most Junior Programs it gets the kids playing golf versus just standing on the practice tee hitting balls. 2. It promotes teamwork, helping the kids learn how to work with others versus just on their own which is an important life skill. 3. It helps the kids develop better life skills such as communication, teamwork, social skills, being on time, making friends etc.
