Coach Testimonials
seeing the progress from the players over the season. Witnessing all the fun memories the players and families create every season
The merchandise that the kids get and the consistent competition was really a big hit.
From my experience, PGA Jr. League has been an incredible program for the kids I coach. The team format makes golf fun and welcoming, and I’ve seen how it builds confidence, leadership, and friendships both on and off the course. What I love most is that it gives every child a chance to be part of a team, support one another, and grow not just as golfers, but as people
The program has been a nice tool to promote the game and get the entire family associated with the country club atmosphere. Like anything else it needs to be our job to keep the cost of this program in check so all can enjoy. The golf industry runs in cycles like the economy and our industry needs to remember that in 2008-09 we lost 1,000,000 golfers. Cost here reached a tipping point in my opinion and we must be ready in this bubble is going to burst, Nothing last forever .
Thanksa

It gets kids out on the course playing golf! The parents can also be with their kids and watch them play.
It creates a great environment for kids to learn and play golf. It's great that the parents and families are involved and spectate when there are matches
The kids enjoy the competition and have fun with golf.
Allows our First Tee participants to take the next step in their growth---playing and competing on the golf course. And for us to keep them in First Tee, instead of watching them participate in another course league.
Pretty much everything. It was a fun experience for both the kids and myself!
That it is the entry level for competitive golf, but in a team setting
The ability for kids of all skill levels to make new friends and use teamwork to help eachother achieve their goals.
What I really like about PGA Jr. League is that it creates a team environment in a sport that’s usually individual. It gives kids the chance to learn and grow together, build friendships, and enjoy the game in a fun, supportive setting. The scramble format makes competition less intimidating, so players can experience tournament-style pressure while still having their teammates by their side. It’s also an incredible way to introduce young golfers to the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence, all while developing their skills on the course.
Fun competition
PGA Jr League is truly one of the best ways to introduce juniors to golf. I love watching them form relationships with their teammates and encourage each other as they learn. The on-course setting is incredibly beneficial and allows them to keep their practice relevant. The parents love it too since they can see how their junior is applying their skills to an actual round of golf!
It grows the game and is very popular with the kids.
Awesome program for kids.
It's a great way to grow the game and transition junior golfers from the range / practice areas to the golf course. Through this experience, you also are able to see the development of other crucial life qualities, such as leadership, camaraderie, honesty, and encouragement.
I like that the players get to work together to make decisions.
The fun competitive aspect. Traveling to different clubs. Quality of jerseys was better.
The best part of PGA Jr league is the schedule is up to the individual coach. Which makes it nice for the coach but also the golfers
We love PGA Jr League at CCR. I highly recommend forming a team!
The format, uniforms, team based learning, the point/scoring system.
Fun enjoyable program for the kids,
I love the laid-back competitive team building and strategizing that these kids have to do. Plus the inner club matches are fantastic!
I LOVE PGA Jr League. In our 12th year hosting a single session junior league program, this is our first time bringing any team to Regional Championships in Utah. This year, we had 205 participants in our summer jr league season hosting 7 weeks of games around the Greater Seattle area. Each team played 6 games and received 2 practices before the season kicked off. With 205 players and limited course access, we are thankful to our partnering courses for providing 5pm or later tee times on Sunday evenings throughout the summer.
I love bringing our teams and players to All Star qualifiers and providing the exceptional memories for these players. We brought 8 teams split between 13u and 17u with one team from each league moving on to the next round. I think the All Star experience is unmatched at the local levels, aside from the fun, optional playdays. The Meadowpark Golf Course team in Tacoma, WA and our Player Engagement Consultant, Patrick Oropallo, make the post season for our players a true experience.
I love the teamwork aspect of PGA Jr League, and seeing players step on the golf course for the first time. Seeing players work together, displaying sportsmanship, respect and integrity on the golf course is unmatched. Thank you!
The comraderie and the Team atmosphere as well as playing a scramble format for these young kids.
It is a great program for any skill level. It introduces a new format to the kids that they normally don’t play in other Jr. golf tournaments.
How it affects lives positively through the game of golf!
Love the program. I will do three in house programs this year. A spring, late summer and fall. Only problem I have is with the jerseys. They take forever to arrive and I have many kids that sign up last minute. They might get their jersey on the last day of the program if I'm lucky.
