Mommy & Me fitness classes have been so much fun for me & my Baby Bub! It’s so amazing to be able to work toward my health & wellness and incorporate my son. ☺️ Alex is very talented and great to work with!
The Active Older Adult and Silver Sneakers Programs rock. Great Silver Sneakers instructors and a wonderful Active Older Adult Program coordinator.
Great Silver Sneakers fitness classes and instructors as well as a wonderful AOA (Active Older Adult) program
Love how attentive the instructors are. My child told me he wanted to, “Live at the Y so he could do more swimming lessons!”
Mr Jim is amazing with the kids and he has a lot of patience. My kids are no longer scared to be in water.
I like the friendly, supportive, accepting attitude and feel. I like that the pool is open and staffed consistently and stays at a reasonable temperature.
The equipment is modern, easy to operate, and the fitness programs are fun yet challenging. I really enjoy the aqua-aerobics most because of the low impact on all my achy arthritic joints and the soothing effect of the water! I only wish you had an actual water walking program!
I have not joined in any programs or activities yet.
so far, I've only really used the pool
Great programs and a reliable staff.
I always tell everyone how much we love swim classes at the West Park Y for our daughter! She has learned so much, and made real friends! All of the teachers have been awesome. I'm not sure if they receive training on working with neurodivergent kids or if we just got lucky, but they show more patience and understanding with her autism than some of the therapists we've worked with. We would never go anywhere else for swim lessons.
The no frills. Also appreciate the heavy bag being up?
Always available when I’m ready.
People greeting, zumba, strength, cardio combo, step!
I love the Silversneaker program and the Older Active Adult Program. Great instructors and participants.
I have been a member on and off since 1999 - for the first 10 years, as an employee. I love everything about what the Y stands for and what it has meant in my life in all the ways. Childcare, Adventure Guides, swim lessons, group ex, Breakfast with Santa, challenges, friendships…I’m grateful for it all. But I can’t for the life of me understand why the bathrooms at West Park have not been fixed/renovated in 25 years. The same broken stalls, peeled paint, wonky doors. Why? Why can new buildings open and something as simple as new stalls and toilets not be recognized as needed and deserved?
They are fun. I like the company.
Your programs are great but I just want to exercise
Fields trips and swimming
Love Theresa's Thursday class at 10:30.
Everything the comraderie of the participants, the diversity of the staff, members and programs are universal for all attendees.
I use the pool for my physical therapy. I come early am and am out withln 45 minutes. Everyone I see is very pleasant and helpful.
I loved that there was something to do for the kids everyday, The weekly field trips as well as the weekly swimming, The kids had a great time
