We've had our daughter in swim classes at the West Park Y for quite a while now, and as long as she's willing to keep coming, I'll keep her in them. I feel much safer letting her into the water after all she's learned, and it is a great social opportunity for her (both with the other students, and with the instructors).
I absolutely love the time the instructor’s take with my grandchildren to help learn safety in and around the pool . The patience they have with teaching swim lessons is phenomenal.
Everything except for the Wednesday and Friday classes it's not for me I like active things to loose weight

Jim the aquatics director is amazing! He’s a phenomenal teacher and I can tell he takes great pride and joy in his job.
Staff and facility
I take a great yoga class on Monday night.
Locker room and showers are clean and maintained. The pool temperature is perfect for both lap swimming and water exercise. Most of all the staff and members are cordial. When things are broken the staff does there utmost to communicate the issue to management and the problem is fixed in a fairly timely manner.
Friendly staff, nice variety of people and ages use the Y, and people I have met have positive outlook. Improvements to facility are much appreciated.

Easy and convenient place of departure to get to the bus for the trips organized by YMCA. I live close to this branch and it is convenient for me instead to go to West shore or the French Creek

I absolutely love the swim lessons, my son started at age 2 now my grandkids are in swim lessons. At the age of 56 I’m taking refresher courses to improve my stroke technique.
Few people there at the time I usually go.
