Great spinning classes in the earlier part of the day.....they need a spin on Thursday morning....luv the classes that use weights.
My biggest complaint is that too many of the classes I would like to attend are going on at the same time. basically in the 9am and 10 am hour.
Would luv a class on posture. I have bad posture but I see many of the female class attendees with horrible posture, too.

Easy, clean and friendly. Great activities for older woman… though I would love to have an aquatics class on weekend.

Early hours, clean
The staff are friendly. There are more to do ar the Y and for members who are parents can depend on the pathways 7 days a week both mornings and evenings .
The water in the men’s showers is always cold, requiring several minutes to run to get warm enough to use, it doesn’t matter what time of day. Need more hot water in showers!
Can we start a volleyball league. I know it's popular with other YMCA. Some YMCAs had a once a week play time for a few hours just for fun and others had a league through the winter. Thanks have a good new years

Water aerobics
You can just show up for a class usually. There is easy access to a personal trainer for a nominal charge, who will work with you for a half hour to our increment, for just one session, or as many as you would like. There is a wide variety of classes and activity available. All the staff I have come in contact with are very welcoming, friendly, and more than willing to help.

I really enjoy the group exercise classes - Mary does a great job with Pure Strength on Sunday mornings!
Absolutely love the silver sneaker programs with Andrea and the twins!!! Challenging and so fun!
And also Sat Zumba with Christine!
Lastly, drop in pickle ball is so flexible, fun and welcoming, no matter your skill level! Lakewood Y rocks!
Exercise equipment is always clean and in good repair
They have a wonderful group water aerobics Monday through Friday taught by Maureen. Sorry to hear she will be retiring soon.

only needed upgrade, and i dont know how it could be done, is indoor walking track...not a deal breaker:)

Well, I’ve only done the gym for workouts and trying to get back mobility from multiple surgeries over the last few years. Great staff good machines met a lot of good people.
I always enjoy my workouts at the Y. It is convenient to get to and the staff always makes you feel welcome. The facility is always clean and the equipment is well maintained. I never have to wait for a treadmill and so I can get in and out quickly!

That there are a variety of classes offered throughout the day. I wish there was more power yoga offered though, but grateful for the Monday class. Shannon’s cycle class, Mary’s step classes and Megan’s power yoga class are amazing.
