Programs for the active older adult are wonderful. The Field trips planed from Mary to December are fabulous.
The staff are ALL courteous and respectful.
At the Y, there is "something for everyone!" The programing is well thought out; the teachers are wonderful and really excel at making the classes both effective and fun. I think we all look forward to the social interaction as well and have made new friends along the way. The support staff could not be more friendly and helpful. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND TO MAKING THIS A GREAT PLACE FOR ALL!

Friendly competent staff.
Absolutely LOVE Ester’s after 50 class. She really understands her “followers” and caters the music and the moves specific for her loyal group. I’m sorry to say that if come for a workout and Ester is out, I will turn around at the door. Have tried twice when she was away but there was no rhythm or movement to the musical beat. Other reasons I’d recommend Hillcrest Y is the friendliness and helpful of most of the front desk workers. Unfortunately some of the newer staff are not quite there yet.
The staff is very friendly. There are many greet activities for adults and children. I happen to Love the pool.

Old but nice, deep(9ft) pool at 85 degrees. Generally easy to find available sessions. Popular aerobics, aqua- fit, Zumba and arthritis classes. Private swim lessons for adults and children as well as group lessons. Swim Teams. Good availability of lap lanes.

I haven't done much at the Y since I have many activities with CPA. I have taken two bus trips fairly recently and enjoyed both.

I like doing water exercises in the warm pool and I like riding the stationary bike and the weight room. I also like the friendly and helpful Y Staff Members.
I really enjoy Hillcrest YMCA even though I only attend about once or twice a month because I live out of town.
