I love the different activities for each age group and each activity level. There is something for everyone here.

The programs and activities are designed and executed well and the staff I've met are very people oriented and genuinely happy. They really seem to like the work they do, which in today's crazy world is a rarity. It's really a pleasure to walk in to the Y.

Senior programs with Sur
The times that the programs that are scheduled and the variety of programs that the YMCA offers.
We recently took swim lessons from Jake and Natalie. They were both excellent instructors. They had different styles which was great to keep my child motivated. He learned a lot and improved quite a bit in four weeks. It really boosted the confidence of this child that already loved the water.
Instructors for group exercise classes.
Activities are still limited. No morning pool classes, only evening. I am not aware of programs and activities. Limited access due to Covid 19. I'll be glad when this is over and we can resume our normal activities mask free!
They offer programs for all ages.
There is a friendly atmosphere all around the Y and the staff is helpful and courteous. I personally don’t use many program but I use the facilities and pool.
great place
I visited last week and was kindly shown around and my questions answered regarding the protacall of sanitation being practiced. I was inpressed. Satation in the past I thought was not good. Hoping the practices beng done now will continue even after the pamademic has passed. I love my Y and will be slowly coming back to classes and swimming.
Before covid i was able to go for a swim as i do 20 to 30 lapseach time. It was great to fo water aerobic classes.
At 68 i felt great and was dealing with my arthritis which was severe in my knees
It was all over for me by March 16 as i became very ill . it is difficult yo describe how helplress you feel when you gasp for breath and have complete fatigue. I did not go to the geauga y again until july15
Finally the pool relaxed me and i felt such joy to have some exercise thst did not hurt. I miss the hot tub and sauna but understand that with covid why it was closed.
So in good times the geauga y has so many of us seniors in silver sneakers and in the pool.
In bad times there were the virtual classes and stretching with yoga poses.
Now we are back in tje pool with only 10 people at a time.the new normal is correctly handled with cleaning of all equipmemt and spacing people.
At least the y is open .
Hooefully there will be more activities.
We senors need our y .
In this crazy world right now all we want to do is get back to somewhat normal. I feel the YMCA us trying to do there best to get us back to normal ways they're doing everything they can to keep us all safe hope soon that water classes will be able to include more people.
The munson YMCA is very clean, my granddaughter and I felt very safe there
Offer a variety of programs across the lifespan.
We would be there at our normal 5 days / week rate if it weren't for the @#$%^ virus!
Friendly knowledgeable instructors variety of programs. Concern about the health and welfare of the people who go to the Y
I like the aerobic because it lowers my blood pressure.
I like the weight room because it strengthens my core.
I like swimming because I love the water, the people and the freedom it gives.
I like the lobby because I can be by myself on the computer with no pressure but time itself. I’m retired now so I don’t have to think about the time so much there. ;-)

I like personal training.
Pre-Covid, I really enjoyed the LiveFit classes and other group classes. I have not tried them since the re-opening. I also love the personal training.
First, the Grauga Y is a beautiful functional facility. The extent of my wife's and I participation are some of the group classes conducted by Sue and Melony. They enjoy their work and it shows. They are professional, considerate of us, and,along with Diane, in this time of the virus, seemingly think of all contingencies. It's appreciated.
Geauga YMCA is a very well run institution and is kept very clean,the staff is friendly and helpful
