Aquacise with Gail Abernathy is GREAT! Every class is fun. More importantly, regular attendance results in obvious improvements in strength, endurance, balance.
It would be great to have more bands and pool noodles.
The hot tub/whirlpool is so enjoyable after the aquacise class; the sauna is the next best thing when the hot tub is out of service.

The facility is clean and well maintained. The number and types of classes is terrific. Almost all of the instructors are excellent and very experienced.

Amanda M. (Senior Strength), Phyllis (Strength & Balance, Tai Chi), Jessica (Silver Sneakers), and Danielle (Chair Yoga) continue to have good classes. The Silver Sneakers class tends to be aggressive, but it is suitable and beneficial for students who are in generally good health; perhaps, slightly more stretching would help. The facility (French Creek) continues to be clean. The weight machine room continues to offer a reasonably good range of options and is a good supplement to participation in classes (or a stand-alone alternative when classes are not available). Class schedules (posted or web based) are not always up to date or clear and can result in people coming at the wrong time or not coming if they think that the class does not fit their schedule. Somewhat better e-mail updates would help.

A bit concerned about the pickleball gym time. Now that summer camps are over it would be great to post “open gym” in the afternoons instead of having every day marked for open basketball. The gym is marked for three courts but only two nets are available. Diane Halligan was a huge supporter of Pickelball, I don’t believe that to be the case with the new people (or maybe just finding their way). We can (and will) head to Westshore for PB if necessary.

I enjoy using the weight machines, the treadmill, and the walking track.
While I love the French creek y I do have something that bothers me. The Tuesday and Thursday morning pickleball schedule is not as it should be. We have had one court in the early morning for a while now and it has been removed for some reason. We have a good number of early pickleball players that use the gym Monday through Friday. I would like to see that corrected. On a positive note I really like Danielle and love the job she is doing! And also Joe is great to see and talk with when he's around!

Group fitness classes have been great for me. I am almost always able to find one that works with my schedule. The instructors have been prepared and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
