Shalene helped me find a photo of the balyage color and root touch up that I wanted, quoted me how much it would be and I came in the following day for the service. She was FANTASTIC. The base color looked great and blended with highlights perfectly. If I had seen my hair on the photos for inspiration I would have picked mine when she was finished. Jake is the best stylist I’ve ever known. His cuts are always perfect, he is a kind soul, and I would recommend him enthusiastically. I have been asked on several occasions who cuts my hair, sometimes by women I do not even know! This has never happened before.

Love my stylist whom I've seen twice now - Alicia. She does such an excellent job. And she's warm and friendly and we had a nice chat the first time I came in. This last time, though, I really needed to get some work done and she was great at letting me do so while giving me a cut and style I adore in super-quick time.

I had a great experience at Maximum FX thanks to the wonderful stylist Alicia! As a curly textured haired woman I’m always nervous about getting my haircut but Alicia was great at communicating with me and understanding what I had in mind. You could tell how experienced and talented she was and I knew I was in great hands. Alicia did a fantastic job, I love my haircut! She was also a joy to chit chat with. I’ll definitely be returning! :)

Loved the whole experience
I take a day off every month to treat myself to a shampoo and a haircut. It's become vital to my well being as the whole experience is very luxurious and calming. Brittney at the South Lamar location is the best and has been cutting my hair for 8yrs now. And, I've been a patron of MFX for over a decade. They've always been at the top of their game.

When she asked if she could do a dry cut on my curly hair I knew I was in safe hands.She asked all the right questions to make sure we were both on the same page on the cut. I wasn't sure what to expect being a first time client but she blew me away with her expertise!!! Have already recommended her to several people The receptionist where very nice and welcoming.
