I love the staff, the instructors, and the members. Wish we had more space so we can bring back some of the Silversneakers social activities, like bingo, and crafts, and more days for Pickleball.

I Love the YMCA it’s a Gym that fits our family forsure, I Love that the kids club has activities for the kids and the staff interacts with them instead of just having them sit there, our kids like going. This gym also has youth sports swimming lessons even if you just want to go swim at the pool and hang out with kids you can, or even workout and swim some laps, also heated when cold outside. The staff is helpful and place is clean.They have all kinds of different classes for adults they also post all the events at the entrance we Love it. The only thing this Gym lacks is a sauna other than that it’s amazing.

The culture! Very organized! Low pressure. They let the kids play. I can’t say enough good things about the YMCA.
The Y sports programs have given my daughter the chance to try a new sport (volleyball) as a beginner at 10-years-old. She was able to learn and play and be supported by her team, the coach, and the parents in the stands. It is great to be part of a program that lets kids have fun with sports, to play and learn and compete and improve, without things getting too intense.
The employees, the price.
There is a lot of variety and the staff have great attitudes
Two things:
1.) There is way too much trash / litter on the grounds at the Vic Coppinger YMCA including around the walking trail. The Manager needs to assign someone to walk the grounds for an hour each day and pick up trash. The trash is unsightly and diminishes the enjoyment of a really beautiful property.
2.) The back gate of the pool (the one that leads to the pavilion) needs to be kept unlocked whenever the pool is open. Having it locked is a serious safety concern given that an emergency evacuation may be necessary. A couple years back some guy threatened violence. If he followed through on his threat and went into the pool area anyone there would have been cornered and easy pickings. PLEASE IMMEDIATELY EMPOWER THE LIFEGUARDS TO REMOVE THE LOCK AND CHAIN ON THE BACK GATE AND TO HAVE IT OPEN WHENEVER THE POOL IS IN OPERATION!

Love the flexibility of programs and hours of availability. The membership price is pretty reasonable and there is a wealth of programs available for the kids as well.
Programs and activities geared to all ages

We love the classes and childcare available to us. We do wish that the childcare lasted a bit longer during the week as my husband works nights so he has to wake up pretty early for him to be able to get a workout in before the childcare is over at 12
The workout classes are really good and the instructors are friendly.
