Variety of classes
Excellent group fitness classes and exceptional instructors who put a lot of planning to make the classes unique from week to week. Hats off especially to Brooke and Mariana!!!!!
Everything, except rhe child watch hours, its was more convenient at 1:00pm instead of 12pm
Great facility and classes are super. Just need to schedule which works and s a good problem to have!
all the group exercise classes
Good work-out machines
Caring people who help
Love the Les Mills classes
Classes for seniors.
This Y is welcoming and the staff is friendly and efficient. While I personally only use and enjoy the pickleball sessions, my wife spends most mornings there at yoga or pilates and comes home with a great smile. That accounts for a lot! Thank you.
The group excercises are very fun.
Enjoy most the group exercise classes. Would be great to have more body combat classes at evening/night to fit for the working schedule.
The only program I use is yoga classes, and I also do treadmill.
I would love to see yoga classes in the evening there is none at the location I go.
Excellent instructor, good program and excellent work out classes.
There is something for everyone!! I come here for Zumba and cardio with my daughter and grandson. Trainers are very nice, kind, funny and very professional. The place is very clean too
Good classes, great childcare, and nice clean facility. If more classes were added I sure wouldn't mind, but been happy with what's offered
I very much like the YMCA of Branch Crossing! Great facility, friendly staff, well maintained equipment. Only thing.... It'd be great if people didn't spend so much time sitting on equipment while looking at their phones. It's frustrating when you are waiting for an opportunity to use that equipment and it's being treated like a park bench. Not sure what I could expect the staff to do but.....
I love the place, I do some of the classes and also workout at the academy. I great place!
The staff, equipment, facilities, 1 m from
People who work there are very friendly
a lot of equipment and friendly staff
Volleyball and basketball
Great classes and facility. Great childcare, but would love for it to close at 1:00 again instead of noon.
As I am sure you are aware, Pickleball has become the fastest growing sport in America. This growth is evident at the Y as the courts are crowded. One day this week there were 27 players for 8 slots. Obviously we did more waiting than playing. After some discussion among ourselves we are suggesting starting Pickleball at noon on those days when it does not conflict with other events.
Additionally, we are requesting these MWF time frames be designated as adult only which, of course, many Y events have that designation. Most of the players are Senior Citizens and this is the only competitive sport that we can play. So many of the young people who come during Spring and Summer breaks are not really interested in the game, the rules or scoring. They simply want to bat the ball around, even wearing flip flops. This is obviously disruptive to the play.
Since Pickleball is so popular we suggest adding another time slot for open play. Some of us would be willing to volunteer to give lessons during this time.
Thank you for your consideration.
