Love the AOA classes!
The assortment of classes is great. The facility is neat and clean. Always activities going on for the youth. The staff is great and helpful.
Very nice facility with lots of wonderful programs. Your people there are very professional.
would be nice to have some boxing equipment (heavy bags, speed bags)
We have really enjoyed our son's swim lessons this summer. He has been in lessons almost all summer, mostly because every time his two-week session would end, he would tell me he wanted to sign up again for the next two-week session; this is from a kid who at the start of the summer had almost no desire to learn how to swim, and now he can't get enough of it! We've had four different swim coaches over the course of the summer and all have been excellent. They really understand how to interact with kids and have increased his swimming skills dramatically in a short amount of time. I've been impressed with the professionalism and dedication of all of the swim coaches and lifeguards. All in all, we are very happy to have joined the Y this year and will be sad to see the pool close in a few weeks, but will look forward to hopefully increasing our son's skills in the water even more next summer!
I like the variety of classes and times. I also appreciate the commitment and talents of my instructor John Dalton has been my instructor for Power Flex and Pilates for many years. I am a teacher and I find him to be an excellent teacher. No matter how many times we do workouts, he is always teacher proper form and reasons for what we are doing and all kinds of motivating things that keep us going. He makes class fun. I would not be as fit as I am if I did not have John for my instructor. Jennifer Taylor
I really loves the Thursday stretch class with Richard. I’ve only been once but I’m gonna try to come more regularly. I wish you had some true beginner classes for people who have never done yoga or other classes before. I talked my husband into going to a Sunday bodyflow class and while I could do most of the class he didn’t know the poses names and couldn’t keep up because of it. I looked and there are no beginner classes except a couple made for seniors. If there are any beginner classes at other YMCAs please let me know. I asked at the front desk and they knew nothing. I go to water aerobics at the cavalcade Y and those are great but are going to stop in a couple weeks.
Everything! Especially childwatch and Power Pump!
I like the mix of so many different people - including some my age, plus those older and younger. I regularly participate in the yoga classes which I like a lot.
Like the various daytime and Sat options for adults and seniors
Great facilities- great fees
Great community feel! Good classes especially swimming lessons!
I love the availability of your exercise equipment .
Personal training
Every thing. I have participated in water aerobics which I really enjoyed and now I am a happy, regular at Dominique’s yoga classes.
The class instructors are a delight to be with. They make exercising fun instead of work. The facility is nearby;however, could use more parking space.
An improvement would be to have some Senior classes in the afternoon. Other commitments makes it hard to always come before noon.
Great location. Love the mind and body classes. Robin is a fabulous instructor
Great facility!
Honestly, I have yet to enjoy any of the programs and activities, though I would like to do so.
Nightclub Cardio is the best thing ever!!
Excellent and knowledgeable instructors, and great programs for senior citizens. Love the friendship established between the seniors.
Everything
I like the group fitness classes. Especially the 6am boot camp!
the lap pool is perfect
I like to cycle but more cycling classes need to be added.
This Y needs additional square footage.
The trainer, Mike Warren, is excellent.
Members are fun and friendly, classes are never boring
Trips are fun
Lots of variety and great instructors.
It is,a,warm and friendly place with a mix of ages and ethnicities which I especially enjoy.

So far I love almost everything about the gym from the people to the equipment to the pool. The only thing I wanted to express in the way of concern: The fact that we cannot use the yoga studio to stretch in (when it is not in use). Is there any possibility of making a flexible policy on this? Some times that it is open to stretch in? The gym stretch space is tiny - and it is much nicer to stretch on a wood floor in a quiet open space. Not all of us want to take an entire yoga class to stretch . . . but most of us do understand the need to stretch at the end of working out. I understand not letting the younger generation tear around in there - but perhaps an adult-only policy could be developed in a limited fashion - with some agreement of leaving space as we found it? It is a beautiful space - what a shame not to be able to stretch there after a good work out in the equipment room. . . thank you for considering. I hope you can consider a flexible compromise policy for adults. Best.
