I am so blessed by the Y for many reasons! Firstly, being a single mom it is hard to pay for programs for 2 children. They offer a sliding scale according to your income. I can not share how much this eases my heart. Here I and my children get healthy exercise & programs. My children have been taught how to swim. Boosts their confidence and teaches safety. They have just blossomed after 2 weeks of lessons I just can't believe it. Then we go to the pool to practice. Everything is soooooo clean, especially the washrooms. Thank you Y You make my family feel like home!

I love group exercise and the Y offers so many classes!
I just reactivated my membership since covid. We have had a membership there for at least 8 years. It has always been well maintained. I like the new decor.
My only concern is that the weight machines in the large workout room were not very clean. At the bottom of certain machines, the leg curl specifically next to the windows was very dirty. Sweat stains on the bottom of the machines and hair all at the bottom. I see employees surface dusting but not actually spraying or cleaning the machines.
I love this place and I hope they continue the clean standards they used to have.
The staff ins friendly and there appears to be a good mix of small children with families
Great for kids
So far I have only used the large gym. I really like some of the machines, as they mimic Pilates moves. Very clean, nice people.
I like the variety of programs, classes and water aerobics. YMCA is a great place to meet and interact with positive people. The Y provides a great opportunity for socialization.
Love the water Areobics & lap swim-also classes with Adele.
I love the fitness instructors and the group classes. I also love the children programs offered.

We just rejoined after more than a year off; losing our insurance coverage made us really wait until we felt very comfortable returning to the group setting. Valerie helped us rejoin and made the whole process easy...she had answers to all our questions and was so helpful!
Forever well is like the silver sneakers I'm used to...Adele is a fun instructor and keeps the pace fast and fun. So far I'm going to the group exercise classes and my husband is working out in the wellness center...the new design of the ymca at Langham is great...looks good and I so appreciate the bathroom remodel...no leaking sinks!

Have more water aerobic classes in the evening
Current Pool registration is poorly organized. Suggest have members register 2 per lane for the 3 lanes. This works at Bradley for the 6 lanes available for registration. Currently there are only 3 members that can register. The number should be 6. Most swimmers I talk to agree
Deborah is an excellent trainer.
At 78 years of age, I need to try to maintain flexibiliy and strength. The Forever Well program includes balance, aerobics, weights and there's some fun mixed in. During the pandemic, when I could not attend, I started to have issues with my back and shoulders which I'm sure would not have occurred had I been able to continue the programs at the Y.

The machines are very clean, and there’s always someone standing by to clean.
I just like that it is a family gym that I can bring my children to and no have to worry about them seeing women dressing inappropriately. I also like they pool. I like the programs however, with 5 kids they are too expensive for them to attend. So they have never attended any.
