Member Testimonials
The organized group classes. However, with New Year’s resolutions in full force, the instructors, specifically Sat. 10:45am BP class need to encourage members to sign up. It’s otherwise not fair fir those that sign up but are not able to participate because they run out of weights and bars. In addition to this, instructors need to encourage members to move closer to the front so there isn’t all of this extra space in between members and everyone at the back is scrunched. I get there really early so I don’t have an issue but it doesn’t seem fair to others.
So many great things at the Trotter YMCA - the staff are helpful and friendly; great fitness instructors; plenty of classes throughout the day/week; outstanding cleaning staff that takes good care of the facility; really good facilities. And an encouraging spirit in the members.
Always look forward to the Trotter Y,

Senior bus trips are well organized.
Great variety of classes to chose from.
there are more programs than at Tellepsen where I live
The pool and Craig's caring for it, and the programs and teaching lessons.
Laura Williams classes, all of them.
The yoga classes at 8:30 and the instructors.
The sauna when it is working right.
The 3 'tall' women's showers when they have pressure and hot water.
The front desk staff, as they handle a lot with smiles.
Branco - as he is always happy to see all and is responsive to needs.
The parking garage.
I have a passion for the garden, as it is a jewel for Trotter. I have volunteered 10+ hrs in it almost every week since I learned about it (was not shown it when I joined in May '20; saw it months later). But my feelings for it have been waning since November.
Personal training with Shelley Flom.
Really just use the machines but have also attended classes in the past. The gym is clean, well organized and the Y employees are friendly, helpful and always available to help or offer suggestions regarding the proper way to use the equipment.
Its a great place to work out.
Thanks to all!
Variety of classes. Accessibility. Instructors.
So glad that programs are opening up again. Miss the informative special events, but assume they will be returning.
I feel very comfortable taking every class at my own pace. And it has been very beneficial to me.
Friendly staff, convenient location, variety of classes and times, excellent aquatic facility, clean, well managed! I always look forward to Y time at Trotter.
I love the classes that are offered, especially the Les Mills ones.
Variety of classes
Very good instructors
Group exercise classes are excellent. Compétent and fun instructors, and good variety of classes.
Great selections
I love everything about Trotter except your web page.. it is confusing and not easy to use
Variety of programs and activities for seniors.
I love the water aerobic class. I wish there were classes on more days.
I do miss the stationary bikes you used to have that were a cross between the upright and the recumbent. You now have 1 and before you had about 4.
So many classes to choose from. Great staff!
Large exercise room with machines and cardio equipment. Also love the pool and spin classes.
I really enjoy the Les Mills Tone Class! It’s only available once a week in the morning, although it is taught late afternoon/early evening on a couple of other days. I wish the Y would schedule another morning Tone class like it once did before the Pandemic! It is a GREAT all around workout! I’m missing my Tone!
Great instructors, classes and activities for seniors.
Glad your pool is fixed.
Great atmosphere, energy, availability in times and great instructors

I have had a good experience with Aaron as a personal trainer. He is very sensitive to my prior medical history.
