I like the many options for working out on one's own with the variety of equipment.
The staff and members are friendly, helpful and supportive. There are many and varied group classes that I like and find myself planning my schedule around. Since there are so many good choices, finding group classes that I want to attend is easy.
Lots of class times and lots of workout equipment options.

I feel very comfortable at the YMCA. I workout in Women’s Center and love it. The Y offers lots of workout classes at different times of the day.
Polite competent staff. Lots of group programs. Top notch gym equipment and you don’t have to wait. Attentive to young and old users alike.

Many Senior programs and activities with excellent instructors.
The instructors are all different with essentially the same results, just different approaches. This is especially true for Silver Sneakers. Each instructor, Cindy, Mimi and Adele are all great. We are very happy additional space has been added as it was really needed. My husband and I are exploring other low impact classes as well.
I like my Y!!! I don't participate like I would like too but the bus trips are amazing
The common Soul of the Y. It’s the people, the state of high amounts of care that a Top Flight Workout Facility requires to keep it moving forward and up. It is kept finely tuned by design. It’s multifaceted. Don’t ever let up on improvements.
I love the spin teachers. I wish ALL spin classes were 55 minutes - 6- minutes long EXCLUDING cooldown and stretching.

In general, the workout facilities are good, but some improvements could be made. A couple more of the old style upright bicycles are needed. Plus, we could use another of the larger mats for stretching. And why was the one we have moved so close to the equipment? Perhaps the plan is to move the other smaller mat which is in front of the windows back to abutt the other smaller mat, where it used to be. It’s really not very useful next to the windows.
The trainers are great at helping us older folks stay in shape!

Like body step classes other than the humid rooms. Nice cafe.
