towels availability so do not have to bring towels from home
My husband likes the workout machines on the second floor
I utilize the wellness center with a personal trainer, Ryan Hayes. I have recommended to several friends. I’ve also taken a few day trips with Elena Dinkin and the AOA program.
it's my favorite Y, everything is great. Thank you!
Nice people that work there and nice people that attend the facility.
Convenient access except parking is terrible at busy times. Hours of the facility are pretty good. Classes available are varied and the work out room is not normally too crowded.
I am so happy I have enrolled in the Stella Link YMCA soon after I retired. Luckily, I could start with first batch of the Enhance Fitness class financed by CIGNA. We have very expert
instructors, who besides being knowledgeable are sympathetic, understand the problems of those who are in the Exercise class. I for one started with Sciatica pain, and with the exercise, now I have got rid of the pain, and also my knees feel stronger.
YMCA offers a variety of activities besides exercise. They have talks by experts in every fields. craft classes, help on computers and most of all that I enjoy, are the day trips. I have never seen or heard of those places before.
Thank you, YMCA. You have made and given me a healthy and Enjoyable Retired Life!

I like the variety of programs YMCA offers
Well organized, staffed, and convenient hours.
I like the pools and the stretching classes
Decent spin classes and good exercise equipment. Please consider replacing some of the less talented spin instructors (eg Betsy, Keefe). There could be so much higher attendance if you got high quality instructors. Lisa T on Tues/Thurs 5:30 is fantastic, and often there is not a single empty seat. Denise is ok. If you got quality instructors for weeknights at 6:30, people would definitely attend.
Please please please also consider opening in the morning on Sundays. Have you ever polled members about this? I would bet that the overwhelming majority would be strongly in favor. If the Y is here to serve its members then please consider this.
I attend Silver Sneakers 3 times a week, usually the 3 p.m. class. The class is getting too big and crowded. I know that it is probably impossible, but it would be great if the exercise room could be expanded. I know that you added 2 Silver Sneaker classes at 11:45 on Tues and Thurs. Maybe think about adding 2 more 3 p.m. classes on Tues and Thurs.
Also, it seems like we have a lot of substitute instructors at the 3 p.m. class. That would be okay, but Mona has been the sub for most of these classes and I think people would rather skip the class, than exercise, if Mona is the substitute. Cynthia and Tricia are great motivators and are good at explaining what exercise we will be doing next. They both challenge us. Too bad that Raquel isn't available to sub more often. She was a great instructor also.
Child watch is The Best!!
Kids swimming classes.
Group exercise classes but would prefer to have a 5am class during the week.
love the yoga classes and the pool. would like to see an advanced yoga again on wednesday or more often
We enjoy the y senior programs under the silver sneakers a great deal. We are not able to participate in them a lot because of needing to babysit our grandchildren. We are not able to leave the children in the child care area under the silver sneakers program. It is not practical because of distance from a Y or can their parents afford the family membership to unable us to leave the children in the child care while we participate. A drop in hourly fee based programs for grandchildren might solved the problem for quite a few gradparents.
Amazing family pool! We love it!
Friendship, engage with others in same generation, interesting programs, trips
* The very helpful and friendly staff.
* The welcoming members
* John D's AOA class. He is a super teacher who keeps us challenged.
There are many classes tailored to age and ability. especially AOL. The instructors are trained and passionate about their jobs. Good equipment. The lap swimming pool is adaquate....but the aroebics class needs a permanent instructor. Right now there is only one substitute. This makes it very inconvenient for those who are regular members of the swimming aroebics classes.
The AOA is particularly geared to my need for exercise and contact with people of all ethnic groups......very deversified. and compatable with my interest. We play games, go on field trips, listen to professional people who share information.
The birthday celebrations are also part of the senior fellowship. We have parties on special holidays.
In summary, let me put it this way: "You meet the nicest people at the "Y"

Professional experts and friendly and professional instructors
