The swimming lessons
Regarding "Forever Well" classes, participants come from all over the world. Most are friendly, interesting, kind, and committed (to staying fit, healthy, and involved). Most are retired from "helping" professions: teaching, medical research, nursing, law. Elena Dinkin is an outstanding staff resource. She responds quickly and carefully to each issue brought to her attention. She frequently visits our classes and develops rapport with each member. John D. Is a wonderful teacher: his skills include good humor -- we usually leave each class feeling healthy and happy!
The Weekley YMCA is very clean and safe. The staff is very friendly, and it has a good variety of fitness equipment and programs.
I am a 74 year old female. I feel comfortable working out in the gym. I like the family orientation to all the programs. It really feels like a community.

I feel like the program directors do not always listen to concerns and are not consistently transparent and open about addressing. For example, we were told that swim classes with Tim need to start at 8:30 am due to his schedule. Yet, he verbally told us that he was fine with 9:00 start time.
Also, we were told that we could not have swim classes on Tuesday due to lifeguards. Yet the Monday aqua zoom was moved to Tuesday without explanation. Feel like communication is not always open.
Have suggested more swim classes because of the competition for sign up but no one seems to listen.
Overall, very pleased.
Love the low impact classes led by a great instructor, John Dalton.
Jihan does a great job in her two classes leading exercises that focus on all the major muscle groups.

I'd like a greater variety of group dance classes . Calf extention machine. Tai chi. Gentle stretch class. Shoulder lift machine. And more Reliable elevator.
Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained cardio room.
The variety of activities but it would be nice to have lower cardio classes during the evening or weekend hours.
I swim in the pool in the AM. The lifeguard staff are very attentive to the safety and comfort of the swimmers. Even at 5 AM they are cheerful and polite.
Indoor racquetball
The Classes I want are always available, everyone staff member that have come across is very friendly and willing to help when needed.
I like the low impact cardio class. And the line dance class. Both are fun and energetic. Keeps you thinking and moving. I also do the EGYM that’s a plus. Adding some weight lifting is always good. I feel better and it’s good for me. I enjoy working out at the Y.
The exercises class are great for older adults, as well as the special activities.
Friendly instructors and great workout.
I love how much the Y supports the community. I really appreciate it meets everyone at every life stage. We have been members since before Weekley opened and have made use of all its offerings with our kids who now use the facility on their own when in town.
I really appreciate how the larger organization is focused on building community and helping those with limited resources.
