The group exercise helps me stay on track with my fitness routine. I really enjoy the outings... it's an opportunity to socialize and to meet new people and visit places I wasn't familiar with. Bingo is a nice way to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. I joined through the Silver Sneakers program for free but the the charges for a general membership worth every cent.it. Several presentations on various topics regarding health topics.They offer use of the pool but the classes are early in the morning

Low Impact Combo and ForeverWell Stretch classes with John are outstanding. He gives excellent verbal instruction and demonstrates each move well while emphasizing the positioning of the weight in the feet, how to push or pull body parts as well as the position of the the back, neck and head. His classes incorporate aerobics, weight training and stretch - all of the elements being promoted to maintain health and avoid mental deterioration.
Stella Link location. I like the second floor gym with the Egym exercises. The trainers are competent and fine people. Most of the other guests are nice and respectful.
Since the exercises in the Egym are supposed to be done in a certain order, I am usually done in no time with all my sets. The program provides for calibrated activity and needed recovery and rest. And this even if there are many guests using the machines. The only issue is with people that want to do the exercises at random, jump around and interrupt other guest's progression.

I have been a member at the YMCA for about seven years and use to work at the YMCA on Stella link Houston Texas for one year over three years ago. I enjoy the beautiful bible study meetings the YMCA has and have attended the church services held at the YMCA from time to time. I have enjoyed the exercise classes at the YMCA and find the fitness trainers to be skilled and professional and caring. I enjoy using the wellness center exercise machines especially the treadmill and I love that the YMCA provide services to all no matter what at a affordable price through the financial aid assistance program that adjust the pay rate to what is affordable for each individual. The amenities and services at the YMCA are top notch. My name is Lushaundra Nicole broussard I am a single never been married woman and never have had children but I love that the YMCA provide services and programs for senior citizens and children and teens.
I deal with chronic pain from spine injuries and degenerative bone issues. When I discovered that I could get a really intense challenging workout without hurting myself on the egym equipment it was a game changer.
TLDR: The egym circuit is fantastic. Highly recommend.

I love Julie’s spinning class, so much better than all the other spinning classes, love that there is activities for all of the community. One constructive feedback would be to expand the childcare hours to start at 8 AM
There are plenty of machines and equipment available, no matter what your level of fitness. All of the equipment is topnotch quality and kept clean and in good working order. Staff is always available and helpful.
