I love the yoga offerings and would love more of them! The quality of class has certainly improved with more certified yoga teachers. I enjoy more rigorous practice during the day and a more yin/ restorative approach at night. Would an aqua yoga be possible? I would love it!

Family atmosphere
I’ve always enjoyed YMCA. This is not directed toward the SE YMCA or it’s staff who are great people and a joy to see. It’s directed at upper management. Raise our rates at a time when New Years resolutions 🙄/ new members over crowd the gym and the faithful members who come every week of every year get pushed to the side and have to adjust our workout or shorten them to accommodate this every single year. Instead the YMCA should give 50% off paying yearly members for at least the first 3 months of every year to accommodate for only getting to use 1/2 the facility until the New Years resolution or new members leave in February and March.
They are very sweet, and patient with the kids. My daughter was very scared at first, but now she is getting a lot more comfortable. I would definitely Recommend the YMCA for swim lessons.
The people! I visited 3 different Y this fall when our pool was closed for roof repairs. Hands down, Southeast Y staff up front give you a friendly greeting and I have made friends in my swim classes.
